....however, if for some reason you make a wider one...it will actually fit. I went way overboard when I made my fish extender....it's very wide and has a wipe board and everything. Mine is 13 inches wide and it fit EXACTLY on the door when we were on the boat last.

Yours is actually referenced in a link in Post 6, Erik. Check his out here. It is very functional!

Yea...it was something in Costa Maya...maybe it wasn't a mission, but some other connection? See...I really have a fuzzy memory!:happytv:

:woohoo:

I'm In!!!!!!!:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

charlie

OHHHHHHH IM there too... but not to share in the drinking... me and Patron DONT MIX lol But Ill be there to cheer you all on and take pics LOL (you all are going to need someone to help you piece that day back together LOL)

Have I mentioned how much I prefer Frontier today??? DH talked me into flying back from the May cruise with Ted + Economy Plus with a one way ticket, and the first version of this press release stated we would be paying extra, even though we had bought our tickets prior to Feb. 4th (they had a logic error).

OHH hmm thats who I have found to be the cheapest for us so far from LAX-Orlando.. oh well I guess there is going to be issues with lots of airlines they all have there fair share of problems LOL

Tequila Drinkers.

Cheapest I have seen Patron Platinum in Illinois is $200.
You also have to pay tax on it. :sad2: :teacher:

Last time on board the Magic I believe it was $165 for the bottle in the duty free. Of course you got it on Friday nite though.

So the thought is if there is a group that wants to try it and toast to a lovely day at sea and self proclaim ourselves as Masters of the Universe who am I to not join in. :grouphug:

And if you truly enjoy the Platinum bottle you can pick one up on board to take home as a keepsake. ;)

Or at a minimum we will have fun talking about it for the next 7 months.

Hey guys

Havent Posted much in this thread (and Previous) but have checked and read every now and then.

Does anyone know how the progress is going in Costa Maya? Does it look like it will be able to be a port again by Sept? -- We were really looking forward to our trip to Chaccohben with David and Ivan.

After the Tequila... :rotfl2:

We can light up the Fake Cuban cigars we all bought in port that we think are real.

There is some stat that like 90% of the cigars even the ones that smoke similiar to cubans are actually counterfeit.
There is one store in Cozumel called the Habana House that is sanctioned some export regulatory commission ;) .
But anyways this store is supposed to be the one true store you can buy with confidence at $20+ a stick. :scared1:

I remember conversation about doing something like that but don't remember the outcome. Maybe those that started the conversation will come back to let us know what we need to do this.

Last I read they were about three months ahead of schedule. I am thinking that we should be ok unless they get hit again early in the season this year. But it seems to be looking good that we will get to stop in Costa Maya. Anyone else hear anything different? Lois

The pic below, which will look very familiar to someone on our thread, demonstrates best what I'm referring to.

Hey! There's my door! :cool1:

Awww. Thanks for the memories, Kimberly!!

What you also must notice is how sad my floppy (empty) FE is hanging there all lonely with nothing in it. (That cruise was a small dis group that didn't do FE's.) That won't be the case on our cruise!!!

Gosh, I have to get on the ball and personalize it soon. Those Love Boat scarpbooking stickers have to go! :rotfl:

See Post 6!

In regards to Costa Maya, I sent an e-mail today to Dave and Ivan at the Native Choice. I want to schedule a trip to the Mayan Ruins. So far I haven't received anything back, but it has only been a few hours.

BTW, would any of you creative people make me a fish extender? I would pay you. I am sooooo not creative.

If you can't make a Fish extender, you can buy one on ebay. That is what I did. I got it in the mail yesterday :)

I just checked Ebay & found two listed under "Fish Extender". One has the four Castaway Cay characters from the ball/bouy thingies. It's pretty cute :) The other one looks like she'll personalize it any way you want & you talk with her to plan your FE.

On the main forum today, there was a new (to me anyways) rumor about a change we'll see post dry-dock.

A CM on our cruise 2 weeks ago said they are going to completely refurbish the Oceaneers Club. The back room with the computers and dress up clothes and books is going to be completely revamped.

I'm wracking my brain to remember what else she said, I'll post again when I can think of more.

One thing I hope they do is put in a splash area for the little ones like on the Wonder, but that's totally just coming from me, not anything I heard.

Someone also mentioned the staterooms will be refurbished.

Ohhhh...I hadn't thought about anything being changed:lmao: I guess I thought they'd just re-paint everything!?! Silly me :)

I posted this on the group webpage, but thought I'd post this question here too...

It looks like so far we have 36 cabins participating in the Fish Extender treats. I wouldn't be surprised if the total goes over 50 participating cabins once it's all said and done.

That being said--what are your thoughts on splitting the list into two groups?

I know DH will raise an eye if I'm trying to bring 50 treat bags onto the ship! If we split the list into two groups & you have a friend who isn't on your list, you could do a FE surprise for them anyway.

I was just curious what others thought about this??

We were trying to pre-plan our excursions and had picked the Cozumel beach break. After reading many post on the boards, it sounds like it is much cheaper just to get a taxi and go on your own. Does any one have thoughts or advice. We just want a fun beach for the kids DD9 and DS7.

I can't decide what to do in Cozumel I'm thinking Dolphin Swim and doing the beach, Xcaret, or just hitting the beach.

If we do decide to just hit the beach I'm thinking about taking a cab to this place:

http://cozumelnachicocom.net/

you can book it as a beach break via:
http://www.cozumelcruiseexcursions.com/CozumelBeachBreak.htm

Or if you do no want to do it as all-inclusive you can just take a taxi there and pay like $20 bucks or so per person if my memory is correct. I have read some good reviews over on the cruise critic Cozumel board.
