I am willing to put up with a thread in different parts if it will help the whole work better. As you can see I found our PART TWO as well and thanks to Kimberly for transplanting all our cruise planning information. May need to do it again with as busy as this thread is.

I want to welcome everyone who is new. I will try to be more present but work is kicking my butt. So I had better try to get back to sleep. Going to be a long day tomorrow. Lois

My son posted his info on the kids meet thread on disdoubledip.com. He will be 11 on the cruise. There aren't very many posts yet. Maybe it is still too early.

I don't know if I can get my nieces to post. Sarah will be 15 and the twins, Desiree and Cheree will be 10 on this cruise. I can't seem to get my sister to even post let alone join the web site. Hopefully the Kids thread will catch on and more will be able to meet before we get to the port, Good night all. Lois

Yeah only 3 girls so far (one is my DD). My son (who'll be 9 when we cruise) hasn't posted cause it's only girls .

My son gave me an eyeroll when he saw that it was just girls so far. As if saying, figures. I talked him into it and told him maybe that will get the ball rolling. No offense to any of the girls.

Does anyone know what the water temp will be like at Castaway Cay on our cruise? We cruised one time before and that was in March 04, the kids were 3 and 7 and thought that the water was a bit chilly. It didn't bother me.

We were there the exact same week this past year. A tropical disturbance had just moved through about 2 days before our day in CC, so I don't know if that greatly affected the water temp or not.

But *I* thought it was a bit chilly myself. We arrived on the beach fairly early in the morning though....maybe 9:30 ish and were probably in the water by 10. It certainly wasn't unreasonably chilly...just a bit brisk when first getting in..if I had to guess water temp I would have to say about 75 degrees. (And that may not even be cool to many up north...but I won't go in the pool unless the water is at least 78!)

By midday it was hot as heck and that water felt Niiiiiiiiice!

I will try to get my son to post his info on the Kids Meet area. I have to go check that out. He is 9 and in 3rd grade. He is very social, so I am sure he will love knowing there are other boys in our group. He still doesn't like girls too much, so he would have rolled his eyes too.

Have any of you flown with Airtran or Frontier airlines? They look like the best deals for me. Just wondering how they are. Thanks.

flown several times to Orlando from Philadelphia on AirTran never had a problem with them. One time was a weather related problem not their fault delayed us about 4 hours getting home.

Crissi did you get your flight down yet? Joe and I are leaving Philly at 3:30 on AirTran. I don't know what time the kids are leaving yet, but they are also leaving Friday night.

Bunny, have you seen the instructions on Post 6 on Page 1? It's on the DisDoubleDip.com site, however, for safety reasons, it has restricted access. You'll find directions on how to request that from Brandie (Fizzgig) in Post 6. If you've tried that already, let us know here, and Brandie will get you settled!

Yes, I booked at $114 down, but got $69 coming home because Joe and I are staying until the Tuesday after the cruise. I don't know what the girls and bf's are doing yet I think two are staying until Monday and the othe two will be leaving on Sunday can't talk them into taking more than a week off from work hoping they will change their minds before they book return flight. I think my girls and bf's will be on that flight with you unless they go with Southwest.

DS24 and DDIL took Frontier last Sept from Oregon - they loved it. They said there was more legroom (huge for him - he's 6'4" and 230 lbs.) Little TV screens in each seat, and the crew was really friendly and fun!

Just watched Disney Cruiseline on Travel Channel - loved the reminder that we will be sailing soon, and the sun is shining somewhere!
