Thanks, Brandie. I will have my son post tonight when he gets home from school.

:rotfl: The ratio of boys to girls is starting to move to the boys side dominating... if we could just get the boys posting! :goodvibes

My pleasure! I hope he enjoys the forum.

Hello everyone! I can't believe they cut off our old thread. :scared1: I thought there had to be an expliantion as to why the Double Dip Thread was not coming up.

We are in shorts today, but the weather is changing back to the 60's by next week. I think we're pretty much out of luck for snow this year.

I can't comment on everything because I had to read so many posts to catch up then find this new thread that I've forgotten most of what was said. :rotfl:

I do plan to keep the Konch Kooler recipe and make a few before we leave. I might even bring the recipe to Hawaii in May with my two friends so we can celebrate our early birthdays in style! (That's DLC style!) :drinking1

I am excited to hear about the Chocolate Buffet!!!!! I can't wait for that one!!!

I'll be lurking. Have a great day everyone!

I would love to find fares like that!

How much do they charge? Do they have a website? I was thinking of a rental car or something.. I don't know what the best way to go would be.Thanks.
Tonya

We also booked the Hyatt ourselves (AAA rate) We are flying in Friday night and taking a limo to the port since it is cheaper for 6 than DCL. Last time I checked DCL was $69 per person each way. We used Happy Limo on our last cruise they were great. :goodvibes Would use them again.

Thanks!! Are the planes small or do they seem to have leg room? We have a layover too. I don't know if the plane we would be on is a small one or what. Do they have movies, or music?
Tonya

flown several times to Orlando from Philadelphia on AirTran never had a problem with them. One time was a weather related problem not their fault delayed us about 4 hours getting home.

It was $114 on AirTran? For roundtrip? Oh man, I would LOVE a price like that. Any other Ca. people trying to buy plane tickets.. beside you Drea :)
I liked Jet Blue, but the dates aren't out yet. I checked on prices for a month before and the prices were Over $300.. just for one way! Yikes! I was just trying to get an idea on price.

Tonya

Yes, I booked at $114 down, but got $69 :cool1: :cool1: coming home because Joe and I are staying until the Tuesday after the cruise. I don't know what the girls and bf's are doing yet I think two are staying until Monday and the othe two will be leaving on Sunday can't talk them into taking more than a week off from work hoping they will change their minds before they book return flight. I think my girls and bf's will be on that flight with you unless they go with Southwest.

Oh good, thanks for letting me know about Frontier. I haven't heard of them so I was afraid to book with them.
Tonya

DS24 and DDIL took Frontier last Sept from Oregon - they loved it. They said there was more legroom (huge for him - he's 6'4" and 230 lbs.) Little TV screens in each seat, and the crew was really friendly and fun!

Just watched Disney Cruiseline on Travel Channel - loved the reminder that we will be sailing soon, and the sun is shining somewhere! :cool1:

Any word on shipping adult beverages to the ship ahead of time?

Called DCL and they say that you are no Longer able to do this:confused3

I guess I have to stop on the way th the terminal:idea:

charlie:woohoo:

Still not going to give up this easy!!!!!!!!:scared:

No it was $114 one way down and $69 home.

The hyatt at the orlando airport does have a website we are paying $159/night with the AAA discount.

You can find info on Happy Limo on Mousesavers.com

I would need alot of wine...we are going with a large group so 12 bottles I would need:hippie:

charlie:woohoo:

Okay, so I guess you may just have to lug it on board having bought it down there:rotfl: Either that or just give in and buy the wine package on board.

Cozumel is a good Port to pick up some wine and Liquor.
They have a very nice modern store right at the end of the dock.
(Dock is a bit of a walk but you can tip the guys on bikes pulling the carts)

It is your basic duty free store with liquor, perfume and tobacco.
So assuming we stop at Cozumel you can re-fill.

You can pay by credit card and then carry right on the ship.
What we usually do is get everyone back on board and then send a team
on a booze mission. This way you can drop off all the Souvenirs you are carrying first and potentially freshen up.

Also if you are into Tequila tasting there is usually a lot of sampling available in the store as well. (As well as some of the souvenir stores further in)

Ken & Joan (MoCruisers)...I owe you a huge apology! I completely forgot to follow up with you on stats on the number of kids the ages of yours!

Your DS7 will have four other pirates his age! pirate:
Your DD9 will be surrounded by a full court of eight other princesses! princess:

Anyone need Pirate costumes for their kids? pirate: Disney.com has costumes 15% off today only with the code TODAY15. Grady told me last night he wanted to be Jack Sparrow for Halloween this year so this worked out nice. I got him the costume for $16.99 plus shipping. They have some cute girls costumes too. Have fun shopping!
