Chris, I'm so sorry for all the challenges you and your family have been faced with the past year. The flooding last year, all the damage to your church, and these new issues you mentioned just doesn't isn't fair! I hope your DH is healing and feeling decent. No doubt God will turn things around for ya soon! I'm so sad that I won't get to meet you and see your Fish Extender, but I completely understand. Please don't hesitate to drop us a line so we know how you're all doing as things start turning around for you!

Erica, thanks for your concern. Here in the Columbus area, we haven't had the tragic flooding like you've seen on the news. We're expected to get more rain today, and there really isn't anywhere for it to go, so hopefully we won't get what's expected. I know a lot of people throughout the country are in quite a sad state of affairs from all the melting snow and rain. UGH!

Hadley, I already assessed that you're a strong woman, but man, you've got a strong brave heart, too! I hope it will be a more pleasant experience for everyone this year! You're all just too sweet to be a modeling mentor for him in your own home. I'm looking forward to some good stories!

Amy, I agree with Hadley that with your Disney Store being a top performer, you, your store, and your CMs are at less risk. Fingers are still crossed for you!

Hey gang!

I know I haven't posted in a while and I wanted to apologize for that, but I wanted to let you know this right away.

Dave and I have decided not to go on a cruise this year, so that means that we will not be joining you all on the Double Dip

We've talked about it and talked about it and decided since we are moving very close to the date, it would be unfair to our new employers as well as our kitties adjusting to a new place to suddenly leave for a week.

We really hope you guys have a blast! We're looking at just moving our cruise back another year to the November 28, 2009 Western, which should be a blast since we've never been on a Christmas cruise before! Maybe we'll get to see some of you over on that meet thread, who knows!

Have fun guys, and have some extra fun for us!

I am so sorry to hear that you need to push your cruise back but do understand. Moving and changing jobs can be so exciting. I sure wish you the best. I would love to do a cruise at Christmas but always opt to cruise in the fall. Best wishes for your move and your next cruise. Lois

Doh! We have NO chocolate in the house, except one thin dinner mint from lunch at Olive Garden today... and hot cocoa. Oh! And 2 packs of chocolate chips! *hrmm* Yeah... Not much chocolate in the house...

Speaking of siggys, I just noticed that mine has a new scale on it!! It's on a 6 month scale now instead of 12!!!! WOO HOO!! We're getting closer kids!

Hi Kimberley. Yeah it has been a while. We've been pretty busy since the kids went back to school. And the weather has been great, so not too much time spent on the computer - got to make the most of it while it lasts. Plus my computer has stopped working properly so I have to share with the kids . Soon I'll be complaining that it's cold & wet while you guys have the sun .

I noticed your siggy said 5 months & mine still says 6 months , but then realised yours starts with wdw. We will be in Orlando for a few days before the cruise but not WDW (going to try and adjust to the time zone) so I started mine with the cruise.

Thanks Lois - you're sweet. I just don't know when our next cruise will be, which of course is the best! At this point we have booked a vacation in Puerta Vallarta with DS - he is changing jobs though, so I don't know how that will work with his vacation... we may have to cancel that one, unless DH and I do something without them.

DH and I have some points to use up next year, so we are planning a trip to the world next Summer after our babysitting duty is over for the school year! I think we'll be ready!
