Double Dip Castaway - Cabana question

I've sailed concierge. I've sailed insides & many rooms in between. I've gotten a cabana both with and without concierge. I agree, the price gap even to bump up from the family verandah up to the same size room in concierge is significant. I'm good with them having that perk. I know I'll enjoy having it myself at some point in the future.

We're on the May DD with you. I'm platinum & not even rushing to PIF. I have no intention of booking upcharge things so I'll hold onto that money until I have to hand it over.

I'm not paid in full either. No rush on my end.

I've not tried as a Concierge passenger, but I'm willing to bet Shoreside can make reservations at Palo or Remy for more than one night, especially for Royal Suite guests.

Very true. I have been offered to do that multiple times but I never took them up on it.

I didn't get one for the May double dip, but I am a lowly silver . Honestly with how much concierge guests pay extra, I do think it is fair for them to be able to snatch up all the cabanas for both days. Yes, I won't get one now, but they are paying a premium for those extra benefits so I understand. One day when I pay the premium, I'll get one!

Yes you can book a cabana for both days if they are available. However, unless you're concierge or Castaway Club Platinum, those chances are extremely slim. Most cabanas are booked 120 days on the day prior to sailing. Concierge guests get called 125 days prior to sailing and asked what their requests are and once 120 days hits, their requests are automatically booked right at the stroke of midnight. Some Castaway Club Platinum members will get the rest if there are any left over. As for Gold and below the best chance you have is going on a waitlist for any last minute cancellations.
