There are 6 of us for brunch. I am so looking forward to that meal!!!

Josh, you just won't believe that meal. It will be unforgettable. Now, if we could only get Brandon out of his stateroom, he could enjoy some of the great things on the cruise too :rotfl:

It doesn't seem to be available over the Thanksgiving Holiday. I have the Dolphin excursion booked so I will probably stick with that. That price was so good for the Atlantis it had me think!
Still working on the getting the stateroom switched.

  DDC 500TH Post to Thread

You are lucky you got the Dolphin Excursion. I am trying to get that for my kids and so far I have only been able to book my brother in law and father in law. I keep trying everyday in hopes someone will cancel.

And the t-shirts are looking good!!!! :artist:

You're absolutely right about Brandon's response!

Regarding my fovorites at Palo....That's one of the best thing about Palo.... all you have to do is ask for a taste of something and they'll bring it for you. No matter what you ordered. You can get a little of everything!! AND, everything is great!!!!

Hi Shelley - my brother has to do the same thing as you. He decided on Budget Rent a Car as the most cost effective way to get to and from the port. The Disney bus will cost $40.00 PP each way :sad2:

Randy

The problem is not getting to the port, but getting from the airport to the hotel the day before the cruise and then from the port to the airport on the day we return.

Well, I am here, you are talking in front of my face again. We will not be joining you for brunch as we have dinner at Palo that evening. Maybe next time the DDC does a cruise we can pre plan the brunch so that I can go.

Thanks for asking.

P.S. I wanted to be the 500th post guess I should have been paying attention.

Does the hotel offer a shuttle from the airport? I know you can rent a car one way from Budget to go one way from the port to MCO.

The most important thing is that you will dine at Palo at least once. When you board the ship on the first day, you can see if there is a way to switch around your ressies to get Palo dinner on another night and Palo brunch on Saturday (if you want).

We are still awaiting our cruise docs, very disapointed that I ws not the first, but Iam sure they will get here soon enough. We have started packing and are getting very excited about going. We are only 7 days from departure! I can't believe it has gone so fast. It feels like yesterday we got engaged at WDW when in actuallity it was 2 years ago!

Does you hotel not run an airport shuttle? I assume you have tried that already, but that is what we are doing. Other options would be Happy Limo or someother limo company. We are using one for our trip from our hotel to the port on Wednesday, and then from the port to Tampa on Sunday. Since we have ten people, they have us in a 10 passenger van.

Brandon - these next 2 weeks will be a whirlwind of activities and awesome events! :cool1: We wish you and Michele all the best for your wedding and can't wait to meet you guys on the ship.

Shelley – You can rent a car from Budget at the airport and drive to the Radisson. Then someone can return the car to Budget and walk back to the Radisson. It is about ½ of a mile or less. Then you can take the Radisson shuttle to the port when you are ready. When the ship comes back you can get the Budget shuttle back to their office and rent the car one way back to the airport. We have done this several times and it works out great. You can’t beat the price vs. a town car or limo.

I just relaized that my flight out of Orlando when we leave is at 500pm so we have cancelled our transportation from port to the airport and are renting a car to go to Downtown Disney for the day. We are going to do some shopping and some wishing and then drive to the airport around 300 to catch our flight.

My flight got switch so now we leave at 7:00 pm - We will probably catch a ride on the monorail see the Christmas trees at a couple of the resorts and go to downtown Disney too!
