Dorky Disboutiquing DiserSistas:Destination Disney HeatherSue's(best)version OVER1/27

I love your trip report! I just sat here and read through it and it is making me totally sad that I'm not in Disney right now!

I am so jealous you went on Soarin' TWICE!!! We went to epcot 2 times on our last trip and the line was always SOOOO long and fast pass times were waaaaayyyy more then an hour! I'm gonna look at it as a reason to go back!!
I always wondered about the back door to epcot, had heard of it didn't know what it was though.
I didn't know the boats went anywhere else, thought it was just in the "harbor"
And I have never been on test track!
Yep guess I have to go back to WDW darn it :rolleyes1
Poor Sawyer missing lulo- Sounds like he REALLY NEEDED that nap though!
Great installment Heather- Is Teresas up yet, hmmm I better go check.

I love the ice cream outfits!

Heather, yet another excellent installment in which you make things that I already know sound interesting and exciting! I love reading your version! You made me cry, and you made me laugh!!! It was a nice day, wasn't it?? BLAZINGLY UNEARTHLY HOT!!! But, a good day!

You have many more of the details right!!! I got all befudled with Soarin! I had forgotten that we rode it twice! I thought we parted for lunch at the Land, but couldn't figure out how that could be!!! DUOH! I also chuckle again at how similar we write things!
I think Tessa's bun is out in that picture, you put it in a ponytail.

I've got my version up now too!

Wow, Heather that was the bestest, longest installment ever! What an "interesting" Epcot day. Baby duty with a cranky little one is the worst..... but fortunately you had that stroller and your mom!!!!! Saved the day! :thumbsup2 I loved  the ice cream outfits and lovely pics of all the girls in them. You really are a trooper to keep going and smiling but I am glad you took the next day off. I have never been to MGM so I have no idea what I am missing but I don't think there is a lot of stuff for little ones??? So I am really enjoying your trippie Heather and all of the great pics! :goodvibes

Awesome update once again!!! They girls looked really cute in their ice cream outfits!!! Can't wait to hear about your non park day!

The Beaches and Cream employees were obviously tasteless zombies. The girls looked fabulous!

I really enjoy all of the pictures in your report!

Teresa, Sawyer, and I made a bathroom pit stop while the rest of the family went to see the butterlies. As I was finishing up changing Sawyer's diaper, someone poked me in the back! I turned around and she flashed her LIME GREEN MICKEY HEAD!!! Teresa and I were positively giddy with excitement! Our first Diser sighting! She said her name was Marsha, or Marsh0013. She mostly hangs out on the adult and solo travelers board. She was very sweet and didn't act like we were TOO big of dorks for getting that excited to meet her!

hey! someone pointed out to me that you mentioned me in your trippie, so i had to come over and take a peak. i'm loving your report! all the matching outfits and stuff are just so cute! and you are absolutely NOT dorks at all, i was thrilled to meet you too

:goodvibes This installment was so fun!! (Even with Sawyer being tired) I love Epcot!
Can't wait to read more! I love all the pictures!

Thank you!!!

So, are you saying that Epcot is NOT #4 in your top 4 Disney Parks? :rotfl: Oh wait, I should have made that #5 in my top 5 Disney Parks because I have been to Disneyland!

Loved your update. Those matching outfits for Beaches and Cream are so cute. I can't believe no one there had anything to say :confused3 . Poor Sawyer, I totally understand about that. It took my son when he was around 2 three days just to fall asleep in the stroller. I understand why you apologized to that rude lady at Test Track but I don't think you should have. She was wrong.

It's no fun hauling a cranky kid around Disney! I just kept hoping he'd fall asleep!

Wow what a great installment Heather...love all the new pictures too. I think it was funny how you "tricked" your sweet ole DH into a color-matching shirt, unbeknowst to him!!:goodvibes

That is so cool about the VIP tickets at Test Track. I will have to tell my DH as his Dad worked for GM too.

Okay...and I just have to ask...how come you did not take a reclining stroller with you to WDW??? Are you crazy?? LMAO??!!! :lmao:

He took the matching shirt thing pretty well. He just game me the 'ol eye roll when he saw that he matched everyone else.

I didn't take a reclining stroller because I wanted Tessa to be able to ride on the sit 'n stand. Plus, I knew if my APS (antiphospholipid antibody syndrome) acted up I would be too tired to push a stroller, so I didn't want to take 2! Sawyer had fallen asleep in the sit 'n stand before (it reclines very slightly), so I thought it would work out. Silly me!! :headache:

Love the update! Those ice cream outfits are so cute! I don't think I ever saw the finished product before this!

Thank you! I thought the all looked beautiful in them!

I love your trip report! I just sat here and read through it and it is making me totally sad that I'm not in Disney right now!
Thank you!! I'm with you, I'd rather be at Disney.
Hmmm...maybe not. If I thought May was ungodly hot, I could NOT handle July!!

I am so jealous you went on Soarin' TWICE!!! We went to epcot 2 times on our last trip and the line was always SOOOO long and fast pass times were waaaaayyyy more then an hour! I'm gonna look at it as a reason to go back!!

It sounds like you needed Tourguide Mike!! You definitely have to do Soarin' and Test Track next time!!!

I love the ice cream outfits!

Thank you!

I forgot we rode it twice until I checked my notes!
So, what made you cry?

You've never been to MGM? You really must go! I would go just for the Beauty and the Beast show! :lovestruc It's GREAT! It's a pretty fun park, we'll hit it in a future installment!

Awesome update once again!!! They girls looked really cute in their ice cream outfits!!! Can't wait to hear about your non park day!

It's not too exciting, but it was REALLY needed. I have a couple of funny stories from it, though.

The Beaches and Cream employees were obviously tasteless zombies. The girls looked fabulous!

I really enjoy all of the pictures in your report!

I couldn't agree more! Thank you!

Hey, it's YOU!! I'm glad you made it over to my TR!! I heard that you are writing one, too. I'll have to check it out!

Thanks for saying we're not dorks. You are grossly misinformed, but very sweet!

P.S. There is a 3 banana minimum around here. You can't leave that guy to banana by himself!

Heather. So much to comment on, so little time. Lily is right now telling me that she wants to go to Mickey's house for dinner. I may have been talking about our upcoming trip a bit much and your picture of pluto didn't help.

I felt much better that sawyer woke up in a better mood. People always act like I'm crazy for vacationing w/ my inlaws but I look at it as free help:rotfl:

ooh, a sister moment. If we have one of these I promise to get it on film for you ! Don't hold your breath

The girls BNC outfits were wonderful!! Your only enabling me. You know I want to let Lily wear a nemo outfit to the Living Seas and change her for the world showcase:laughing: I am "that" girl!
In case you didn't know, I updated my PTR http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1870958

Now, tell your sister to shake her tail feather.

...t.

Another great installment! You have inspired me to write one for the first time when we get back this time!

Love the Refreshment Port. The first time we were in Disney we thought the same thing and wounded up with just fries too!

Seeing the girls cry while brushing their hair made me feel better. DD4 thinks I am trying to pull her hair out when I brush hers!

LOVE those beaches n creams outfits! Can't beleive they didn't comment on them! IfI were the cm there I would have made a big tadoo about them! I wish I worked at the World instead of just the store!

Can't wait till your next installment! It makes great reading!

He also went over and patted his sleeping sister. He just loves her.

I love this picture! Sawyer really loves his sister! She looks too cute while sleeping!!:lovestruc

Awww I am glad to hear you only got the 'ol eye roll...what a good sport he is!!!

You know I am only teasing you about the stroller! Hahaha Ohh how do you like your sit 'n stand? I have seen those and have always wondered about them. We need to figure something out (stroller wise) for our hopefully Decemeber trip. I know my DD will not wanna walk the whole time seeing as though she is only 4. Then will our new little guy....definitely going to need some stroller action for two! :goodvibes

(I hope your APS never acted up on your trip?????)

Teresa updated right after I did, in case you haven't checked it out yet!

How sweet that Lily wants to go to Mickey's for dinner. Don't we all?

Yeah, that Refreshment Port stinks!!

I can't wait to read your trip report. Make sure you let us know when you start one!

Oops, my bad!! I knew it was the sister in law, but ya gotta admit, that Henry is a cutie!:lmao:
Oh yeah! :cool1:

I love this picture! Sawyer really loves his sister! She looks too cute while sleeping!!:lovestruc
They are so sweet together...sometimes.;)

Awww I am glad to hear you only got the 'ol eye roll...what a good sport he is!!!

Well, he couldn't do much about it once we were at the park! I don't bring our "what if someone pukes" bag there, so he was out of luck! :rotfl:

I LOOOVE the sit 'n stand! I got it for $80 at Target and it's worth 3x that! Not too comfy for naps, but it's great otherwise. I imagine if I would have brought a neck pillow or something for him, he could have napped easier.

My APS was acting up from Epcot day on. But, no blood clots, thank goodness! Just the muscle pain and fatigue (and not just your ordinary "I've walked too much at Disney fatigue"). It was the heat and the humidity, I think. I still had fun, though!

Hey, look, I have video from BBB!! It's not too exciting and I'm saying something rather obnoxious sounding. But, here it is.

May 6:

We decided the night before that we NEEDED a day off! I needed it, Henry needed it, and the kids REALLY needed it. So, we decided to just hang out at our house. We weren't planning on doing a darn thing. I did a little laundry, the kids watched some tv.

Come to think of it, I did at least a load of laundry every day of our trip. :laundy:

We decided we needed something to eat and we didn't have much in the house. So, we drove down to an exotic restaurant called "Chili's". Nothing like trying out the local cuisine! :thumbsup2

We were all in a really good mood. Sawyer was just full of it and hamming it up. He kept picking up the Sweet 'N Low packets and wanting us to open them. We kept saying "No, that's yucky." But, he kept trying to get us to open it.

Well, Henry being the eager to please type, decided to open up a packet for him.

I'm so dissapointed I didn't get his initial reaction, but I was laughing too darn hard.

Want more, Sawyer?

DSC08191_500x375.jpg

NO!

DSC08192_500x375.jpg

Be gone, evil artificial sweetener!

DSC08193_500x375.jpg

We are such sympathetic parents. We were laughing SOOO hard! We both had tears rolling down our faces. It takes quite a bit to get giggles out of Henry, but he was giggling away.

The waiter walked by us a few times, with a look of concern on his face that we were laughing so hard. He must have thought he'd accidentally slipped some alcohol in our cherry cokes.

Not one to be left out, Tessa had to try the Sweet 'N Low, too.

DSC08202_500x375.jpg

But wait, we got her initial reaction on VIDEO!!!

Good times, good times....

Self portrait of Tessa and I.

Look, margarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrritas!

DSC08194_500x375.jpg

No more tears. Really... moments earlier... laughing to tears.

DSC08195_375x500.jpg

The waiter brought our check and said that we can call the number on it to take a survey and get a few $$ off our next meal. He said it would be good even at our local Chili's. I asked him (jokingly) how he knew we were tourists (was it the crocs, the blinding whiteness, what?). He said "All the locals speak Spanish." Somehow I doubt they get a lot of Spanish speaking people in there, either. That food was awful, with a capital A-W-F-U-L!!!!

We decided to go to WalMart and pick up some goodies for the rest of the week. I even scored some Huggies sunscreen for $3 on clearance. It smells SOO good, like mangoes!!

BONUS!! Henry's new sunglasses came with this super-cool nose protector!

DSC08205_500x375.jpg

When we got back to the house, we had an "ice cream pool party".
1.gif
Tessa had been wanting to have one for days. So, we brought some ice cream outside and ate it.

Doesn't take much to please that girl!

DSC08207_500x375.jpg

Check out Henry's sock tan in the background!

Tessa LOVED the pool. She's like a little fish. She just loves to swim. But, she can't actually swim, so she has to wear swimmies. She would have stayed in the pool all night if we let her.

Sawyer...he's another story. He screamed like a maniac as soon as we tried to get him in the water. He was terrified. So, he ran around on the deck and squirted Henry and I with his squirt gun.

Henry was having all sorts of fun splashing him.

DSC08231_500x375.jpg

BONUS!! I have more thrilling video! He is NOT naked in this video, the picture below is just so pixelated it looks that way.

Poor Tessa, you just know she wanted Daddy to splash her. But, he knew better than to splash near me when I had my camera out!

The rest of the night was uneventful. We tucked the kids in and they brushed up on their literature.

DSC08242_500x375-1.jpg

That's Sawyer reading Peter Pan and Tessa reading The Foot Book.

Henry and I snuggled up on the couch to watch some tv before bed.

It was such a nice day. We had some wonderful family moments. We were feeling so in love...with each other, with our kids, it was a good day.
