Well we are all crazy about those D&B bags really I was a bit stunned when in WDW 2 weeks ago ....when I saw thoses bags or should I say those price tags ..not a souvenier range price lol......
But then I stopped and had the good idea of looking and trying one on ...I was hooked ....
For thoses of you following this long thread ..was wdw ever ( since starting to sell them ) ever out of them ...I mean let's say that they weren't any at any of WDW store or resort stores ?????
I sure hope they have a new model soon and keep selling it for a few months I'm only going back in nov ..
I know I can order them but being from canada the shipping cost is almost like paying for another bag ..
And I like to choose my design whwn I chose my bag I made sure everything was at the right place ( mickey , wdw , ballons ...)

When we were there in December we saw the sketch purse once and only the tassle tote. Our next to last day we saw the black ones, only at WOD. This was over 10 days. Based on other people's posts I think availability varies.

Okay, so my wonder tote arrived, not flat rate, but in a box that was nearly open...thank goodness the bag was okay (no wrapping around it, just shoved in the box).

It's great except for a couple of scratch marks or indentations on the front leather dooney nameplate thing. It looks like someone was writing on a piece of paper and using the bag to lean on... but I don't care, i am keeping it, I shipping was free, and I paid well below retail in an auction, so I am happy!!

Believe me, I don't ask for perfection, because I plan on using it and I know it will get, you know, used. However, if a person isn't going to describe an item accurately (especially when using a stock photo and not telling people that it's a stock photo in the listing) I would expect full and careful description...

Speaking of pics, I am going to take one of my happy Disney Dooney Family tonight and post it up here!! I am done for now...until our trip in Aug. Maybe they'll have something new. Can't wait for the tan/brown mickey style to come out!

I just wanted to warn everyone, that I love, love purses and was so disappointed when I didn't find the original white sketch in the beginning of December at DTD and GF but did happen to find it at the only place on Main Street In Magic Kingdom!!!! It was the best feeling (except for the birth of my children of course) when I saw I had the pick of patterns! They had just put out the new shipment and I was standing there with at lest half dozen in my hand, trying to decide just the perfect DW pattern! To my innocence, I had the one I so carefully selected sent back to my resort room (a gut feeling told me to watch the lady staple my bag to my receipt but I didn't because we were going to be late to our ADR), when I picked it up 12 hours later from my resort pickup I found it wasn't what I had picked!!! I was so upset, I called the store in Magic Kingdom and she had told me she sold out of them with in an hour of putting the purses out! How fair was that? They mixed up my order with another resort guest??? When I called, they said that their policy was to staple the receipt to the purchase right then and there (which I know they didn't and should've had them do) it was too late, they were all sold out on Disney property! Don't get me wrong, I would've returned my purse because I was that upset but when I could'nt find another, I just wish I would've gotten the patten I picked out! I love my white sketch purse but I do know at the time I paid for it, I had a better pattern!

Oh, LittleWonders, I am sorry that happened to you!! I would be so annoyed. That CM should be spoken to!!!I hope over time you forget about the original purse and just enjoy yours.

I too have been waiting an inordinantly long time for my wonder wristlet I ordered on e-bay....I emailed the Seller who apologized and said she had the flu and would mail it out today to me --- I still didn't get a tracking number or an email confirming that ....this is a power seller too so I'm surprised but not shocked. Some people just space out and don't send the stuff when they are supposed too ....I will wait a few more days and if I don't get it then I have to go thru pay pal and ebay for a claim. I feel your pain ---waiting for that package to come and it never arrives.

I will say that I called merchandising about a week ago and ordered my large white sketch tote. I was told it was on back order and that until it is going to be sent they would not charge my card. About 24 hours later the card was charged, I called them to confirm that it was being sent and they said it would take 10 to 20 days!!! I'm patient so I have about another week or so until I start snarling at them.

Good luck to all D&B fans -- we are a bit crazed, but it is soooo worth it!

10 - 20 days? That is CRAZY! Why the heck would it take 10 - 20 days? Was that their time frame to get it in or to get it processed and out? That is nuts! For the shipping price they charge it should be overnighted!

We are headed to WDW tomorrow so I'll try to check in and tell you guys what availability is.

I just got back from Disney on Sunday. We were there 10 days, and I looked in all the shops for the bags.

All the stores had the black ones, especially the wristlets, though I don't recall seeing any barrels (they may have been there and I missed them)

MK had a lot of the old style, in the medium size. DTD had the large, as did Summer Breeze at GF. At no time did I see a lot, matter of fact, at the World of Disney, the first time I was there, someone bought 2 larges right in front of me and they only had 1 left.

So if you're going down, start looking early.

Oh and did I buy one?? Well, I wasn't going to, I was just going to look, and I did really well till the last day when I went in for one more shirt at DTD and instead walked out with a large sketch. It had the perfect placement, with the DisneyWorld logo right above the D&B one, Mickey and Minnie completely visible except for their ears, and 2 castles on the front with a rose right next to the D&B logo. I LOOOVE it! It's really the perfect bag! And now I want a black one.. Sigh.

I'm pretty sure the return policy is 30 days, but I guess there's no harm in trying. They might be a little more flexible, since it's an exchange and not an outright return.

I am glad you got your bag!! I love mine too, thankfully! I was reading some feedback for the seller before I had my bag in hand, and my stomach sank...fortunately I am done shopping for now unless a wallet comes out that I really need... I have to start saving for our trip!

Love your profile pic, btw!! my son brought his tigger costume to disney last time we went and we had such a fun time seeing Tigger and Pooh while he was wearing it, bouncing around! (he was 3 at the time, I could tell the characters got a kick out of it)

Thanks! I just grabbed one off Ebay for $200 BIN with free shipping. She said the photo is of the actual bag and it's got a purple mickey right behind the D&B label.

Can't wait to get it!!!!!
