I've never really been into purses (although I have quite a Coach collection) but these Disney Dooney bags are so easy to become obsessed with! I really fell in like with my Wonder barrel bag, so much so that my DBF bought me the matching black Wonder wristlet as part of my Valentine's Day gift We went to World of Disney and Tren-D in DTD on Saturday but both were sold out of the black wristlets...we then headed over to Summer Lace at the GF and low and behold, a bunch of wristlets! I took forever deciding between two of them...one had a large hot pink Mickey Mouse with the tiny lime green Mickey (among others) that really stood out to me, while the other had 4 or 5 light aqua MM's...I chose the latter because I love pink but I really love light aqua. We were able to use the 20% AP discount (which according to a CM expires on 2/11/2010) so DBF saved about $10 which was nice. Now I use the new wristlet as my wallet (cards, cash, park passes) and my Sketch wristlet to hold extraneous items (gift cards, lipstick, etc.)...both are nestled comfortably in my barrel bag I am excited at the prospect of a Disney Dooney wallet...ooh that would be wonderful. I've been eying the black tassel tote but will definitely be waiting on that one. Good luck to everyone tracking down the perfect Disney Dooney bags! Like I've said before, placement really is everything!

I use my wristlets the same way! I have 2 other non-disney wristlets from Dooney (I have the giraff pattern and a purple pleated pleated wristlet which is flatter than the flap style). I use one for my IPOD and phone cords when I travel. I almost like them better than pockets in a purse. Great way to organize my bags!

I am dying for one of the large white totes, but when I was at WDW in Dec all they had were the black bags.

I am going to be back at WDW in 4 weeks. Are the new white print bags readily available now? I am going to be so sad if I can't get one again.

I was there a couple of weeks ago. I didn't see the large white bags everywhere, but I did see them. Summerlace at the Grand Floridian had them. I didn't see the large bags at the shop in Hollywood Studios at that time. I'm not sure if they were at MK or not. I didn't go to Downtown Disney when we were there.

I was at World of Disney and Tren-D at DTD and Summer Lace at the Grand Floridian Resort this past Saturday and they had a number of the new version of the white bags. Hope this helps! I will be at the GF and MK this coming weekend as well so let me know if you'd like me to check out any other shops to give you an update!

As far as the new pattern supposedly being out by the end of February, I was only going by what a CM told me. As I went to Uptown Jewelers on Sunday (Jan. 31st) and she said that the new pattern should be out by the end of the month, I highly doubted that she meant the end of January so I figured she was indicating the end of February...but who knows...Disney and Dooney may surprise us by having the new pattern out in a week or two!

After coming back from vacation at WDW I am trying to catch back up on the posts. I apologize if this has already been mentioned. As to WDWPrincess486post - a cast member also told me that the bags were due in Dec but they really don't know when to expect them at this point since they keep getting delayed. She did say they were hoping for the end of Feb/ beginning of March. Then she said, "Wanna see a picture of them?" Oh boy I was trying not to jump up and down. A few other people have posted the description (just like the black bags BUT off white with varying beige shades of Mickey's.) Beautiful of course. I was thinking.....how do I sneak a pic of this for the board? I didn't manage it (maybe someone has by now?? Again I am catching back up on the posts and haven't yet made it to the end of this thread yet.) But the one bit of info i did want to convey was that there IS a checkbook wallet. I didn't see a smaller wallet but you never know. SO I love the new design....I am going to have to start saving for that as well as saving for my next trip to WDW. That place is going to break my bank!! Love it though!!

Oh...I did get a beautiful white tassel tote. I got complimented right away... The flight attendant said it was like a "grown up version" of disney devotion! Yep - she nailed it on the head..disney devotion, disney obsession...same thing in my book!!!!

I should have never come into this thread! I'm drooling over the large white bag right now. I soooo "need" it for our upcoming Disney trip. DH might not go for it since I got a new Dooney bag & 2 wristlets for Christmas.

Which stores have the 20% discount for AP's? Just the GF store? We are heading over there in 9 days and I'd rather save 20% than 10% obviously!

From my recent visits to WDW, I got the 20% off at Summer Lace, Uptown Jewelers, the Emporium in MK, World of Disney, and Mouse Gear at Epcot...not sure if there are others...I'm sure there is at least one store at Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom that offer it as well. I'm not sure when this 20% is ending though, as it was temporary and I was most recently told it will end on February 11th...but you never know, they could always extend it, so I usually ask about a possible discount whenever I am about to make a purchase, just to be sure

That I picked up on our vacation 2 weeks ago. My husband just switched jobs so the cash is probably more needed than the purse right now. It is a white tassel MM Sketch tote. It has a full mickey and Dooney and Bourke logo on the front along with Walt Disney World logo on the front. On the back, there is a full Castle, Tink, the cat from Alice in Wonderland, and a Disneyland logo. Pics available to email, I don't have a photobucket account. All I would ask for is what I paid ($150 plus tax) and the shipping with insurance. I hope I haven't broke any rules by posting this. Just PM me if you would like pictures.
