Lost of reasons!

I'm going through an incredibly difficult time in my life right now...I'm a Dooney & Bourke collector and have been since my Dad bought me my first one years ago. I LOVE Disney World and have been 13 times...it's a huge part of my family's memories. So, when I heard about these bags I had to have it. I just paid $290.00 on Ebay for it two days ago and I can't wait to get it. I think it'll add just a bit of sunshine to my tough days ahead.

I had the money and after being told by Disney Merchandising the other day that they are on their 3rd backorder order and that she couldn't honestly tell me when I would get one, then I went on Ebay. DH said it was my 40th bday present. I have no regrets and I won't feel a bit guilty when I ever get back to DW and see it on the shelves for $175. At least I will have enjoyed it.

Cute, cute, cute. I love it. However, at the place I would most want to carry it (WDW or DL), I only carry a crossbody. Now, if this came in a crossbody style, I would definitely be buying one on our Dec trip. I'll still look at them and consider it but it not a definite at this point.

Cute, cute, cute. I love it. However, at the place I would most want to carry it (WDW or DL), I only carry a crossbody. Now, if this came in a crossbody style, I would definitely be buying one on our Dec trip. I'll still look at them and consider it but it not a definite at this point.

Just so you know- I have all 3 styles and the tassel bag comes with a strap that is almost long enough to carry cross body. (I'm a size 12 and I *can* wear it that way... but it looks kinda dumb. I'm sure it would look nice if I could lose those last 20lbs) The strap clips on so you could replace it with a longer one. Just an FYI.

Thank you so much for this information! I showed DH the purse last night and fortunately, he supports my purse fetish. In fact, he's quite the enabler as he encourages me to buy the purses I like and if I don't buy a purse that I really want, he'll a lot times go back and get it for me. ANyway, when I showed him the purses, he told me I should get if it came in a style I want. Also, we both agreed that the tassel bag was the cutest. I sure hope it's still available when I go in Dec!

I just called this morning to order the medium purse and was told that they just put them on backorder again this morning. None of the three items are in stock from what I was told.

Hoping, hoping, hoping that they will still have these when we go at the end of November! I would try to get one over the phone (done backorder stuff with WDW Merchandising and always been happy), but I really want a bag that has a nice image of Dumbo! Keeping my fingers crossed that it's meant to be . . .

I'm the same way. My mom is a huge fan of designer bags and she's bought me several over the years. I've gave them away until we got our daughter. She even got my husband to buy me LV luggage a few years ago. That went to my daughter too. Happy to say that 15yo DD not into designer anymore either.

I ordered the large tote for myself. Just now i spoke to the concierge who is buying 4 wristlets that I'm giving to my daughter and her 3 friends on our trip. Rie, I think, will make an exception for a designer Disney bag. Her friends will flip because they were drooling over the tote I ordered.
