I agree the new large Minnie is HUGE! When I first heard about it I thought I might want it and went to WOD to look at it. When I saw it I thought it could be a nice overnight bag. Maybe?? I had thought the other bag was a little big, but I got that one anyway!

The small tote is larger than I would ever carry on a daily basis, but the bigger one is enormous. I can't imagine using that unless I was carting everything to the beach or something, and then I would never want to take Minnie there. I guess some women love large bags, but the size seems a little impractical for most. I can see a super prepared mom having everything but the kitchen sink in there.


When I went to WOD on 12/29, it was in the afternoon so it wasn't too busy. I had a nice female CM who let me look at all the bags and wristlets! So I was able to get good placement on my bag and wristlet. I posted the fronts a few pages back and will post the more pics soon.
When you were there did they still have the display to the left of the register? Based on what you posted it sounds and looks like they had moved them back behind the register. On Tues. 12/29 they were behind the register and on Fri night 1/1 they had a display beside the register. They also had a CM working on the wall.![/QUOTE]

Great that they let you pick your bag and you found one you wanted! They didn't have any out from behind the counter there except for the black ones in the glass display case. They actually had an extended line set up that you don't usually see there. I think it was probably a busy day being the last Sunday after the holidays before everyone left for home. They should have a cast member working the wall at all times if they are going to keep them there! At the time, the cast members seemed pretty frazzled. I'll just have to go and check Minnie out again this weekend if it ever heats up around here.

In regards to character placement.. the first minnie bag I bought didn't have the placement I liked so I kept looking. Then, I found a Minnie and Mickey in the center of the bag and Tink and castle in the bag I of course exchanged the first bag.

No, there is a larger one that is like the large black bag. There is a picture of it a few pages back. It only comes in the "new" sketch print and not the original print.

Rest assured--your lasik eyes are fine. There is another bigger tote with the Minnie design. Check out the pic on page 110 for a comparison. It's probably not really that big for ladies that prefer big bags. I just wouldn't be comfortable lugging something that big.

Sorry didn't realize you were referring to the second version of Minnie that made it's debut 12/31. I had to give my first (minnie) bag to my sister because she liked it better than the one I got her. Don't know why.. they both have minnie and tink in center..She's had a tough year, so she needs an extra So now I have a new bag that I have yet to use

The large white bag is 220.00 and currently available now. I have that size and style in the black wonder bag and it is wonderful I have the sketch in the medium cindy tote (got it when it first came out) and am now wishing that I could get the larger one. Love carrying the large wonder tote, it is so comfortable. Can't wait for the next patterns!

Yea, my credit card was charged on Tuesday for the black wristlet. When I called on Monday, I was told it was backordered and wouldn't be in stock for 3-4 weeks. I'm so happy that I'll be getting it soon.

Most of the merchandise people are knowledgeable on which bag to order if you can tell them the price and color of the bag you want.

Was in the World recently but could not decide which bag to get. Liked the medium wonder and the tassle tote but both were too small for my needs. Will wait to see what other styles become available. I prefer hobos or cross-body bags with a zipper top and outside pockets.

I have seen lots of purses this week they seem to be instock everywhere still have not seen the new large white tote that I wish I had instead of my white Cindy tote. I guess I will have to keep looking. Maybe sell my Cindy if I can find the other one still lots of black purses everywhere.

My parents went to WDW over Christmas and New Years and the surprised me with the white medium tote and the wristlet!!!! I had no idea they were going to send them to me!! So excited!!!!!
