Anyone have information about these bags turning yellow? Can it be prevented? I'm worried about having spent so much and it will be yellow in less than 2 years

i don't understand why they are still on back order - obviously they have them and have shipped them to the shops around the world so why aren't they shipping them out to the people they know want them instead of hoping someone will buy them in the stores.

My mom bought me the wristlet towards the end of October at Uptown Jewelers in MK. There was one of the tassel totes there but I wasn't too much of a fan because I figured I'd prefer a larger bag. Low and behold, I found this thread and fell in love with the large tote. My boyfriend knew I had my sights set on getting this bag. The first weekend of November, we went to World of Disney and asked the Information Desk which stores had the large tote in stock. A cast member told me Uptown Jewelers and/or Couture in HS. We raced over to both stores (albeit, after driving then parking at MK, then more driving then parking and then arriving at HS in the middle of the parade), to find that both had been sold out for about a week and a half. My boyfriend had told me on the way that he would get it for me for Christmas because he knew I wanted it (and he also knew that if I saw it, I would buy it hehehe). He then placed a backorder on 11/09. The following weekend, we went to Downtown Disney and saw they had the large tote...I just stared at it ...Frankie went over to the Information Desk and asked why he had been charged for his backorder but it hadn't been shipped yet, and yet there are some available in the park. A really helpful cast member brought out a few of the bags for me to look at (albeit they were wrapped) so I could choose one. He also had Frankie give him his name and phone number so he could call the Merchandise line and have the order canceled. Well, the order was canceled and Frankie wound up getting his refund and also saving money by buying it at World of Disney (no shipping, 10% AP discount), and I got my purse sooner than I thought I would. So it was certainly a hunt for the large tote, but well worth it, thanks to my wonderful hunny Hoping everyone who ordered a purse or wristlet or is searching for them gets theirs soon

I ordered two wristlets last week over the phone with WDW merchandise.

The gal told me they were back ordered for weeks, BUT I should have them by Christmas and put me on the waiting list. She told me I would know when mine shipped because I would see the charge on my credit card.

Guess what... my card was charged FRIDAY! That was fast. They should be here any day!

But from what i've read its luck of the draw on how the material is placed on the bag?

I will be ordering mine as im not getting to WDW anytime soon. (Why can't DLRP sell this adorable bag?? damn them!

Just returned from the parks last night and got the large bag!! I know they said it was back ordered for a while but every Couture shop had several in stock!!! I'm so excited to have mine!!

Was at Disney today. The jewelry store on Mainstreet in MK had 12 large totes and 30 wristlets. The store in the Grand Floridian (sorry, don't remember the name) had 7 large totes and 9 wristlets. If you have an AP all stores at Disney are offering a 10% discount.

my box came friday and I did not have a chance to open it until monday night. I ordered the large tote and the wristlet. When i opened the box only the large tote was there not the wristlet and the packing slip says they should both be there. I checked all the paper and the stuffing and even looked to see if it was inside the tote bag and it was no where to be found. So i called merchandising this am and they said they would have someone call me back. Hopefully I don't have a problem and since my girlfriend is going to disney next week I am having her pick me one up. THey can just credit the other if they will do that. My tote is nice but it says disneyland in 4 different places and the walt disney world is on the bottom of the bag. I have mickey and mickey balloons. Would have liked the walt disney world on the front with the disneyland. I am having my girlfriend pick up two wristlets and another tote. Probably give this one to my niece for her birthday.

I would love mine to have Disneyland on it more that WDW (since that is where we go). I get my tote today and if for some reason I get a bunch of WDW or something else, I am open to doing a trade with someone if they are not happy with their placement. My main concern is to have an unobstructed Mickey somewhere on the front.
