Here are pics of my purse and wristlet.I bought the purse at TrenD a few weeks back.There were 6 of them and this was the best one.The handle has a nick in it I guess from the crazy hook they got it down with.
The wristlet/wallet was from over the phone ordering.Not too pleased with it but I wasn't risking not getting one in Dec when we go.DH said if I find one then I can get it and give this one to DD I won't complain.
I solved the issue with carrying money in mine by taking my D&B Hearts coin purse thingy out of my Hearts purse..cutting the bottom off of it ... sewing it at the bottom and inserting it inside of my wristlet to use it as a wallet That way everything has it's place and the coins don't get the inside nasty.

I love this purse but I am not looking forward to it yellowing like my other D&B I hope it is a long time before that happens!

I ordered the tassel and the wristlet last week and i just found out they were shipped today.

My total was 224.95. So my shipping for both was $29.95. All the way in AZ, I was willing to pay =)

I just can't wait!!!

Ok confused. So what is the absolute cheapest shipping available on the large tote? I want that and cannot find it here so if there is reasonable shipping I will order it on backorder since I'm not in a hurry. I'm hearing different things. I could do 20 day shipping if that is $20 I thought I saw somewhere.

Not so crazy when you get the wristlet from Disney for $45.00 and then 49.00 shipping. I bought my wristlet on ebay for $75 w/free shipping. My tassel purse cost $215 with 5.00 2 day shipping = $220. Disney had the bag for 150. and another $49 shipping for 7 day shipping so that would have been $199. The extra $21 was worth it to me to have my bag in time for our trip.
eBay is not so crazy when you take into account the crazy WDW shipping costs.

I have a large tote on backorder and the cheapest shipping was 29.95 (I am in AZ, not sure if that matters?)

I just purchased a tote (tassel purse) off eBay. I paid about $100 more than ticket price...

But since I'm in Canada, it would have cost me the same if not a little more if I had ordered directly through Disney (crazy shipping fees outside the US, customs, duty, taxes, etc.)

Plus the seller had a few purses and I was allowed to pick the design pattern I liked best.

Now on to the best part, on my recent trip to the world I actually saw the purse and wristlet on October 20th at World of Disney in DTD. I never got it, just figured I could come back and get it if I decided I "really" wanted it. Dah me, what was I thinking?

Oh well, I'm getting my purse...

I ordered my wristlet and for shipping it was only 9.00. The price of shipping goes up depending in the amount. $9.00 is for regular shipping and I received my wristlet within 10 days. Also remeber to take the tax off for out of state shipments. So if you include tax the price for shipping came out to less than $5.00.

Same here - I had ordered the Tassel and the wristlet seperately. The tassel was in stock and it was $20 to ship - I received it within 10 days. And the wristlet was on backorder but I got a call with in a week of backordering it that it was in and ready to ship -the shipping was $9 and I had it with in 10 days also

Disney Merchandise shipping charges are based on price of items - the higher the price the more the shipping. If anyone wants one I would go ahead and get a backorder in - if you get one before the backorders come in you can always cancel your backorder. It sounds like that they are continuing to get stock in but since they are so popular they are going to keep selling out as soon as they get them in. I think this is going to be a very hard to get item for Christmas. I recommend if you want one to not wait and call and try to get a backorder in.

I'm planning ahead-I think the small tassel bag would make a great 16th Bday gift for my DD...we are going to celebrate her birthday next year at the WL for 5 nights/6 days in early October 2010...

so I don't need it now---I was thinking it might be less crazy/difficult to get one after Christmas...does anyone know how long they are planning on making the bags for...

I would like to know too and wonder how we find out. I would rather have a color then the white. My Dooney bag that was white yellowed really bad and I had to throw it out. My turquoise/blue background one has not yellowed or done anything funky. Now I am wondering if I should wait and see....

Got the tassle tote at World of Disney at Downtown Disney.

By the time we left Sat. none of the bags were to be found at Downtown Disney. None of the stores had the large tote all week. Ordered the large tote from Disney Merchandising. On backorder. Due in sometime in November.
