Must resist Minnie bow tote...But I like it more and more everytime I see it.

I love that bag and really want one, but I refuse to pay inflated prices on Ebay for it.

I know that ebay prices can be inflated, some rediculously so, but the average person is just trying to make some money which is hard to do on ebay with the ebay fees and the paypal fees. I am personally, however, very grateful for ebay sellers who do make these purses available for us when we can't just fly off to Disney to get them. I wish Disney would make them a little easier to get. In the meantime, I am grateful for ebay sellers who help my addiction.
Maybe we should try to network with each other and get them for each other and not charge for the service if we are going there anyway. Just a thought, but it probably could get out of hand. Anyway, just a thought. I am going in Jan. and if you haven't gotten one by then, I would be glad to get one for you and send it to you for no extra at all.

Hi all! I've fallen way behind on this thread but wanted to share these pictures from Main Street last week:

I thought these were super cute.

I was interested in a 40th anniversary wristlet but only saw two the entire time we were there (at DHS) and neither one had very good placement so I passed. Was tempted to bump up to the 40th messenger bag but couldn't justify the cost to DH - especially since I haven't been using my sketch tassle tote much at all (I love it but it's so heavy).

When ever someone mentioned the Cruise Dooneys they always seem to be talking about the Dream one. We are going on the Magic next summer out of NYC and I would love one of the original cruise Dooneys - looked like the sketch but had Mickey dressed like Captain Mickey and all other nautical things on the bag. I was just wondering if anyone has seen this bag anymore.

BTW - I was at the CT Dooney outlets the weekend after Labor Day and they only had a Princess and a tonal. They said the previous weekend (Labor Day weekend) they had alot and sold out. They mentioned they had a cruise bag but she was not sure what one.

I bought a cruise sketch tassel tote at the CT outlet back in August. They also had several of the Dream cruise bags (all styles). That's funny that you said they had a princess bag the weekend after Labor Day. I think that was the weekend I called to check on their stock and they didn't mention a princess - I would have made the trip for that. Oh, well - my wallet is better off for missing it. I'm due for another call to them though. This weekend is a busy one so maybe next...

I believe the cruise sketch bags are still sold onboard the ships. I'm hoping for a Fantasy cruise bag as I'm sailing in June.

We will be there the 4th till the 14th. We stay outside the park at a Condo we found 6 years ago for $600 a week. It works great for us. That way the money we save not staying at Disney I can spend at DisneyI love staying in Disney but with 4 kids it got too expensive to get a room big enough and to be honest we are just not in the room much. We get up early and stay till we drop. We went in Jan for our honeymoon and stayed on property and love Jan. because the crowds are so low!!! We live in Wisconsin so we love to have a warmer break at that time from the frigid air here. You most definitely may "share " my trip It will be a lot of fun to get it for you. Let's stay in "touch" and closer to the time you can let me know if you still want it or something else. Whatever, we drive so we have plenty of room. You can pm anytime and I will give you my email address.

That is fine you are from Minnesota, your a neighbor. I am originally from Ohio, then Maryland, before Wisconsin. my husband is from Indy, and we are all Colts fans. Whenever the Packers play the Vikings, we route for the Vikings!
We go a little earlier in Jan because my husband is a professor at Marquette and has to be back for classes around the mlk holiday. I have also only gotten two at the parks. All the rest on eBay, fb, or disneystore.com. I am hoping this Jan. to get the comic one!

I don't buy my D&B's from the parks. Way too expensive for me. I'm a fan of waiting for a good sale at www.disneystore.com go through ebates and use my disney visa. I get the % off sale, another 5% on ebates and then another 1% from my Disney.

My first - a wonder barrel bag was purchased at Uptown Jewelers. My dh had to leave because he said he couldn't watch me pay that much for a purse. My second - the medium sketch was a bday present that I had to scour ebay for and buy myself. It took me two months to find the perfect one at the right price. The rest have been through disneystore.com, ebay and a coupe through gals on the board.

I also would love the comic one and am still looking to buy a Harvey bag, but I think I already have too many. haha! Then again, can a girl ever have too many Mickey purses??? I think not!
