Dooney & Bourke Disney collaboration ~ part 3

I am trying to buy my first Dooney, and of course I want a Disney Dooney. I am going to buy it online, Disneystore.com, because I am a little worried about buying it from Ebay. I am attempting to use the DOONEY code to get the extra $15 cosmetic bag, but it says the item I choose isn't eligible? I wanted a Princess Bucket Bag. The webpage has the code showing, and the details do not say there has to be a minimum order. For anyone with experience about this, am I doing something wrong?

I did buy my first Dooney. It is the green sketch wristlet. I decided against the purse as I fell for that green color!! Thanks for posting that extra promo code, with that and also buying a Halloween shirt, I got both for less than $60!!

I have a Disney Cruise Line Sketch and a blue-and-white Mickey Faces satchel (I think that is what it is called, it's the big one). Love looking at all the great handbags. I'm looking forward to seeing the Minnie ones in person. That might be my next purchase.

I did get finally get a refund, still no answer on return shipping or why the whole thing happened in the first place.

I did get an email telling me they were "excited" about my last email.

Oh, I forgot to warn you, however, this thread can cause addiction and we do nothing to help that, only enable it. This thread can also be detrimental to your wallet. However, we all love this addiction and welcome you aboard

Thinking about buying my first Disney Dooney And Burke bag...I am caught between the Princess wristlet and the bucket bag..I really would only carry around my cell phone, wallet, checkbook, cards, etc in it. I see that they are on sale on the Disney store site at the moment..Does this sale extend to the stores at WDW? As I will be there in a little over a week..Should I buy online or wait to see the products in person? Any suggestions/thoughts are helpful...

I think the expo2011 will be able to be used at the stores in the park but if you read the fine print , in the stores you can't combine it with the visa discount, which you can online. The advantage of waiting is of course seeing it in person and buying what you like. However, I don't think they have the princess line in the parks anymore since that is a discontinued item. Others may chime in and confirm if i am right on that or not. Hope this helps and enjoy getting your first Disney Dooney. Just remember noone can own just one.

Just bought my first D & B Disney bag today! I got the Sketch wristlet from disneyshopping with a 15% discount. Plus, I bought DS a Halloween shirt, so I got free shipping as well!

Now I've got some time to work on DH before our trip in Sept. to convince him to buy me a WDW 40th anniversary bag for Christmas!

According to a rep at the DSonline, the makeup bags are in stock and they are sending me one.

I will believe it when I see it. (My dd would be thrilled, but not getting too excited yet)

I have the princess wristlet. I don't think you'd be able to fit a wallet inside of it, unless it was a really small wallet. I have a small change purse that I put my cards and money in when I use it, but there is also a small pocket on the inside that you can put these into. The bucket bag might work better for you if you plan on carrying anything more than your cell phone, cards, and some cash. If you want to carry your wallet and check book, definitely go with the bucket bag. The wristlet is better for the times when you don't carry much, but unless you carry very little all the time, I don't see it being good for everyday use, if that's what you're planning on using it for. Be sure to let us know what you pick!
