Dooney & Bourke Disney collaboration ~ part 3

I think I found my perfect placement at WOD store but plan to check out a couple more stores to make sure. This one has the clock centered with walt beside, full Pluto, train, logo, mickey/minnie, Donald, all park symbols, maps, and a castle on the front. The back also has nice placement IMO. So unless another jumps out at me my next Dooney will be home soon :cool1:

If you find one with perfect placement, buy it. If you see another bag with better placement, you can always return/exchange the first bag. :thumbsup2

:thumbsup2 agree, it might not be there when you go back, so get while you can, and exchange as you go, if you find something more perfect...

Hi everyone,

I'm so glad I found this thread! I've been considering a Dooney and Bourke Disney bag for awhile now, but have had trouble justifying the cost to myself (and to DH!) But now I've decided I'm just going to do it!

We've got a trip coming up and we'll be hitting the parks without the kids, so I've been looking at the wristlets, since no kids = no big bag. I've never used a wristlet before, is it annoying hanging on your wrist like that? Does it get in the way? Or is it perfect for being in the parks?

I have a crossover bag I've used in the past in the parks, but I'm getting a little tired of that style and want to try something else, like something smaller, easy to carry and not bulky. In theory, the wristlet sounds perfect.

I was introduced to Vera Bradley about 10 years ago and was hooked! I bought 1 and then couldn't stop at just that. DH is very nervous that the same thing will happen here and with the prices much higher than VB, I'm afraid of what will happen after I do buy my first one! :rotfl:

Be afraid. Be very afraid. Trust me! :scared1:

Does anybody know if the 40th anniversary bags/ wrist-lets will end up on the web site to buy? Or if there is a way to call disney themselves and have one sent? its my birthday wednesday and i think i owe it to myself =}

I stopped by a D&B outlet today. They had several items from both the Tonal collection and the Princess collection and just the tote from the Wonder collection. I was hoping they'd have something from either the WDW 40th or the DL55th, but no luck.

The Disney bags didn't seem to be getting much love while I was there, but I only peeked in for a minute.

Answers to above questions:

I love wristlets, but I carry too much stuff to use one as a park bag. I think it would work great if you can travel that light though.

This is the number I have for park merchandise orders:

1-877-560-6477

Hopefully it's still correct. It's been awhile since I used it.
Be sure to ask how much shipping will cost though, IIRC it was quite pricey.

I love my wristlets I have 5 to carry in the park I bought a small credit card wallet to fit in them and use that for my my ID my ticket and credit card also room for some bills and my cell phone and a tube of advil. When we hit the parks eveyone takes there own stuff so I can take a small bag if I was alone I would use my letter carrier. I just put the strap on my wrist and carry the bag part in my hand it seem very easy and safe. If you need to hands just let it hang on the wrist. Happy shoppin one is never enough.

 The Disneystore online is being :rolleyes1 about the makeup bag mess.

If anyone sees one reasonably priced could you let me know please? I am trying to talk my DD into a Vera Bradley, but it is not working-she wants a Dooney like Mommy LOL.

they didnt refund me my $$$ Its not shipped cuz they are out, and they charged me for it!!!! :confused3

I am back from my cruise. I bought my first wristlet on board, the red cruise one! I love it!! I didn't really care for the Dream print in person. I also stopped at Tren-D on the way to the airport, and had the small bow print bag in my hand, but I decided not to. My monster phone didn't fit in the pocket at all, so decided it would just be dumb for me to buy it then. It sure was cute though!

Not worth the aggravation! Good luck to those who order online.

I did get finally get a refund, still no answer on return shipping or why the whole thing happened in the first place.

I did get an email telling me they were "excited" about my last email:upsidedow.

On my way to the Premium Outlets, Vineland Road. I'll report back what Disney D&B I find!

Wow that's what I call a great Momma - way to go! Your sister and Mom will be so surprised. :cheer2:

So I know I posted about this a few days ago--- but I ended up buying the 40th anniversary messenger while we were there. And I LOVE it!!!! :) :)

I am trying to buy my first Dooney, and of course I want a Disney Dooney. I am going to buy it online, Disneystore.com, because I am a little worried about buying it from Ebay. I am attempting to use the DOONEY code to get the extra $15 cosmetic bag, but it says the item I choose isn't eligible? I wanted a Princess Bucket Bag. The webpage has the code showing, and the details do not say there has to be a minimum order. For anyone with experience about this, am I doing something wrong? :confused3

TIA!!
