Dooney & Bourke Disney collaboration ~ part 3

So I got my large sketch today and lets just say I didn't realize how large it was. I think it may be too big for me. What do you think?

I love the print I just think it might be too big. Thoughts

Personally I find the bag too large and would only use it as maybe an overnight bag - definitely not an everyday purse. The Lucy size of this pattern or the size I have - 1st edition tassel tote are more my size.

Well, I just could not resist the 20% off plus the 10% Visa plus free shipping on the Disney Shopping sale so I ordered some new Disney shirts for myself and, more importantly, I ordered the Striped Mickey Mouse Tote and matching wristlet I ordered them on Tuesday and thank goodness I did because the Striped Tote was sold out on Wednesday I already got my shipping notice and the bag is listed as shipped And even better, I had enough Disney Reward Points to get the two Dooney bags for free Hope I like how the tote fits on my shoulder Now I just have to wait until next Tuesday for them to arrive thanks to the holiday weekend

I got the striped tote at DL for my birthday and the interior is my favorite of all my Disney D&B's! It is super functional, AND it's hot pink!!

The only bummer (for me) about the wristlet was that it has a red interior - why not make it pink to match the purse?!? At least it's just the inside, so from the outside they're a perfect pair!

Before D&B started their collaboration with Disney, I was a Coach girl. There are a lot of details about the D&B's that really make me ask WHY they do some of the things they do. Like how few pockets most bags have, certain closures, lack of lining on their wristlets with buttons, etc. BUT....the prints are just too darned cute to resist.

The straps on the striped tote are a bit too short for me to wear it as a shoulder bag, but I have broad arms/shoulders. If you're on the more petite side, I think it'll work great as a shoulder bag.

Like how few pockets most bags have, certain closures, lack of lining on their wristlets with buttons, etc. BUT....the prints are just too darned cute to resist.

ITA!! And when they do put the charms, they don't always make sense. Like the striped tote which is black & white with hot pink interior and it has a bronze type colored duck for a charm!?! The pink heart woulda been perfect!!

I've considered doing the same but just can't part with them yet. DH bought most of my Coach's for me so I think his feelings would be hurt if I got rid of any of them.

That Minnie Harvey bag is SUPER cute. I was checking it out at Vault 28 in DTD, but it seemed so heavy. How is it?

My champ sac has arrived it is larger then I thought it would be which is good and while placement is not really a issue I do like the way they are placed. I love the dark leather but I wish the straps were longer on a bag this large the straps are way to short.
Everyone seems to have gotten really great placement on their bags today! Momtoallgirls I have the large sketch and love it but it is huge and when I travel I put all my wristlets it in so I can carry them.

I just couldn't resist because it was so cute, and it is my 5 year wedding anniversary today, so it is my anniversary present to myself!

I now have the Lucy sketch, the 40th letter carrier and now the tonal wristlet!

All I need now is a balloon bag, and a Minnie bow bag, and maybe a cruise bag....

Help!!! I got my sketch Lucy in the mail today, and I'm not sure I'm crazy about the placement...it has it's good and bad points, and I was just wondering what you guys thought!

I like that Minnie and Dumbo are on the front, and the Cheshire Cat, who is hiding behind the price tag, but I don't like that crown, it seems like it takes up too much space. I like the back a little better than the front, since the castle is on it, and both Mickey and Minnie...

Should I keep it, or should I take my chances and hope for something better and send it back? What if I get something worse when I send it back??? Ughhh!!!

Unfortunatly you cannot return any park merchandise exclusive items to a Disney store . So, the purses cannot go to the store. The tassel tote you are probably thinking of is the sketch tassel tote. I am assuming you are talking about the Mickey wonder with the multiple colored mickeys. The sketch tassel has the same fabric as the lucy you saw in the earlier posts today. So sorry this didn't work out for you, but don't give up

Hey, I just looked on the Disney website and they do have that purse, Disney sketch tassel tote on there. It is smaller than the wonder tassel tote and it comes with a longer strap if you want to use it as a crossbody or just carry it by its two smaller handles. If that is the one you are thinking of maybe you can just exchange it. Keep us posted
