Which one would you keep and why? My "perfect" placement is (in this order): Mickey, Castle, WDW/DL Banner, Balloons. They all have some of these elements, but not exactly how I want them. I'm thinking that I like the back of #2 the best. Anyone else carry their purse backwards?

Convince me that I just LOVE one of these bags.....

Wow, this is a really tough call.

I think #1 has the best overall placement, but not the items you specifically want.

#2 back Would be my perfect front too.

#3 Has everything you want, Mickey could be higher on the front, though I like the front and center balloons.

#4 If only it had the castle...

I think maybe 2 and carry it backwards? I know I inadvertenty carry my Sussannah the wrong way all the time.

Update: I just showed my DH and we both decided if it was me, I'd probably pick #4.

Oh all 4 of those bags are just awful! I just don't understand it!!!

Mickey, Castle, Banner were my priorities too. I like bag #4 for Mickey and banners but no castle at all!! I agree the back of #2 is really the best. #3 seems to have a little of everything you want to. I would say between #2 and #3 if you HAD to pick one.

Wow, 4 bags and there isn't one I would consider perfect That's why I can't bring myself to purchase any disney dooneys from disneystore.com. I like #4, but that's because I have to have Mickey and Minnie on the front. But, I like them together no on opposite ends. Sorry I couldn't be of much help.

If I HAD to pick one, I would pick #3 since it has at least one of each of the icons on it.

My opinion is to not keep any of them if you are not really in love with any of them. These bags are too expensive not to get the one you really want. Don't keep one of the bags because you feel like you have to. I know it will cost you money to send the bags back and you will probably feel like you have to keep one just because, but if you don't love them, don't keep them. JMO

I just saw this post and want to apologize for not seeing it earlier... I actually do my grocery shopping at the Shop Rite in Garwood and hang out at Crossroads all the time...such a small world!

I agree. It was like a little bit of Disney World, just a short train-ride away.

I really miss the old 5th Ave store. I wasn't overly impressed with the new location.

I agree with you both, I went a few weeks ago thinking it would hold me over until I get to Disney in July, no such luck. I liked the WOD store on 5th so much better. Oh well.

This may not be what you want to read.... but honestly I don't love any of those bags - The back of bag 2 is gorgeous but the front with the logo not so much.

Now why couldn't I have gotten your bag #2. That looks pretty close to what I want. Grrr....I wish they would start selling these in the parks. It would make this whole process much easier!!!!

Jenney, I like bag #2 too! Even if you wear it backwards, most people can't tell, so that's not a problem either!

I will answer your questions once I receive it. It's going to be shipped to me tomorrow so I should have it very soon. The pics are the pics that my friend took to show me. I just love the placement on it. I can say that I never bought the kristen because of the very short straps.

Thanks a lot! I have a Coach bag that's very similar to the Kristen, but the straps didn't look as comfortable.

If i were to keep one i would keep #2 also. I dont know half the time which way im carrying mine, i just pick it up and go so i dont think anyone will notice if you wear it backwards.

Too bad we werent more local to each other, since you like my bag #2 we could have swapped since they wont know which one im returning.

If I had to pick one I would pick number 3 because I can't have a bag with out tink on the front but I can't say I like the placement of any of them, I would back 3 and order 3 more and see if you have any better luck that way you still have one you sort of like.

Kitten, your placements aren't as bad as jlmasl's but not really great either! I kind of like the second one best but to be honest, if I had gotten any of those 8 bags, I wouldn't have a Lucy right now.....

Well, if it was me, it would be Bag 4 in a heartbeat...but that is because we are big Dumbo fans. If I saw that bag at DLR, I would not be able to walk away from it....it would definitely be the newest bag in my collection

This is so subjective!! I also love bag number 4. I really think that there is no right or wrong placement. It is really just how you feel about each item on the bag. This is what makes each one special!

I was really lucky with my original sketch tassel that I bought last year from merchandising. And I am hoping that my 55th bucket coming on Thursday from DisneyShopping will be perfect, too.

Oh my goodness. All this placement talk. Can you believe when I bought DD a sketch wristlet a year ago, I didn't even know about placement? Sure, I look at it now and it isn't perfect, but she loves it just the same. I guess when it comes to placement, the only thing I don't like is if a character is "cut off" by the label. But that's just me. There isn't too much in life that I'm crazy passionate about. Heck, I don't think I even have a favorite color, other than the one (pink) people told me my whole life was my favorite. Well, I'm scheduled to receive two Lucy bags tomorrow, one 40th anniversary messenger and one 40th anniversary bucket. I'm only keeping one of the four. We'll see how big my placement talk is tomorrow when I get those. I might be PMing some of you who are sending back Lucy bags.

I can't believe how lucky I was with Disneyshopping. I'm feeling the "Dooney bug" again and keep checking ebay for a purple wristlet. I've been wanting one since they came out.

Has anyone bought the black striped Dooney bag? I don't know exactly what it's called. I'm looking for opinions and maybe some pics of it being worn. I'm thinking maybe it would make a nice tote bag for hauling my lunch, etc. to work. An expensive tote bag, but none the less, a tote bag. Thanks.
