I changed my order to 2 Lucy bags, 1 Messenger and 1 Bucket. Hopefully I end up with something that has good placement. The shipping with two of each was well over $100, which I know I got for free, but it really got me thinking/worrying about what return shipping would be. I don't know why it's so high. I put in "test" shipments for UPS ground and I think it came to around $20. I'm not overly worried about placement on the 40th anniversary prints, but maybe I'll think differently once I see the bags. Watch; all three bag will have great placement and then I'll have a hard time deciding which one I want to keep. Because I'm only keeping one. Can't wait to see your pics.

Sending you lots of pixie dust so you get great placement Post your pics of what you are not keeping, maybe another diser will love one that you didn't. Everyone has different ideas of their perfect placement.

WOW I don't blame you on that one. I am waiting til Aug. for my messenger; but if I saw that bag and at that price I would have done the same. Lucky girl!

To the person wondering about shipping the unwanted bags back to ds.com it's not that expensive if you ship parcel post since they don't weigh a lot or use the flat rate priority boxes, I usually order 5 at a time and then send 4 back

Thanks for the info! I have only had the DV about a year and a half or so I think. I haven't quite figured out all the ins and outs of it. Usually when I remember to ask about the discount, I'm not eligible. I think I'll let them have the $4.95. After all I did get 20% off on a bag that probably wasn't supposed to be discounted. So I'll quit while I'm ahead, lest they discover the mistake and cancel my order, lol!

Whatever happened to the blue or black and white striped and red and white striped cloth bags with the Mickey silhouettes? No one mentions those anymore. Anyone know if those are still being sold at WDW? Just curious. Not in the market for one.

Since i now saved $40 on my bag i ordered myself a 40th wristlet! So excited!! With the discount yesterday the wristlet was only $40.. I also got all my DDs easter shopping done. That discount came at a great time. Thank you DizneyDogs! You really should have gotten some commission.

Yes I add the tracking # too it's very cheap under $1, I also add insurance too for the complete value of the bags it gives me piece of mind in case the package gets lost I can file a claim with USPS

2gr8DisneyKids, love your messenger bag! Nice placement! Can't tell from your photos, does your bag have the dangling duck medallion?

It came with it, but the first time I used it it fell off! I picked it up, but have not been able to knot it on well. The messenger also came with a registration card.

How does the strap feel on your shoulder when you fill it up with stuff?

This is "my" perfect placement. I was hoping for something similar in at least one of the 4 Lucy bags I ordered.

I LOVE the Lucy bag (smaller size and a zipper), but the placements I received weren't what I hoped for. If you are interested in this Cindy, check out the Facebook Dooney and Bourke page.

Which one would you keep and why? My "perfect" placement is (in this order): Mickey, Castle, WDW/DL Banner, Balloons. They all have some of these elements, but not exactly how I want them. I'm thinking that I like the back of #2 the best. Anyone else carry their purse backwards?

Convince me that I just LOVE one of these bags.....

If I HAD to pick one, I would pick #3 since it has at least one of each of the icons on it.

My opinion is to not keep any of them if you are not really in love with any of them. These bags are too expensive not to get the one you really want. Don't keep one of the bags because you feel like you have to. I know it will cost you money to send the bags back and you will probably feel like you have to keep one just because, but if you don't love them, don't keep them. JMO

Oh all 4 of those bags are just awful! I just don't understand it!!!

Mickey, Castle, Banner were my priorities too. I like bag #4 for Mickey and banners but no castle at all!! I agree the back of #2 is really the best. #3 seems to have a little of everything you want to. I would say between #2 and #3 if you HAD to pick one.
