It sounds like you are missing the extender strap! The Margot can easily be a cross body when the extender strap is in and when it is out it is a shoulder bag. The strap buckles onto the open strap on the Margot.

Hope that all makes since. I would ask the seller for the missing part.

Will do....so in a sense that strap is in two pieces. One being an extender?

That totally makes sense...I thought i needed to go on a major diet...lol. I pm'ed and emailed the seller. I just hope she has it otherwise I will not use the bag. The reason I wanted it was for wearing it cross ways!

When I'm e-bay shopping I use "Disney Dooney" as my search, so I would have missed that auction. Nice find, you got a great price!

Thanks I am so excited and can't wait to get it I am hoping it will be a perfect size to use for my park bag I would have loved to get the blue Sketch letter carrier to match the blue wristlet I got when we were there over Christmas, but I just don't think it would be wide enough for what I take to the parks I have a point and shoot camera and am at the age where I really need to bring my reading glasses with me now or I won't know what I am ordering off the menus

OMG I was just looking on ebay. Someone posted the makeup case (yes, the one we received free with a purchase recently) for $79.97. Being the generous sole that they are cut the price to $75.97. I feel so sorry for the person that thinks they are getting a bargain. That's why you need to be an informed shopper on EBAY. People like that take advantage of the ignorant. Sad, really.

This strap would not work with the Margo. You need a different type of strap. (I have both the Margo and Satchel)

Godalejunior, I would say the seller owes you a strap as you did not receive the complete product (unless it was disclosed that the converter strap was not included.)

I love my Margot as a crossbody, and it's also fairly comfortable as a shoulder bag for me.

Oh, and I just rec'd my 2 heart tags a couple days ago.

I received my heart medallion for the balloon satchel last week. But, they also sent me medallions for the cosmetic bag and the Wonder wristlet. So, I have three medallions when I only needed one. The medallions were each shipped separately.

That's odd... none of the cosmetics bag have ever come with heart medallions. Maybe they made a mistake? The good thing is you finally received them and can now put them on your satchel and wristlet

I know the cosmetic bag doesn't include a medallion, but my Wonder wristlet has a duck medallion already on it. I guess I got two free medallions.

I can finally say that I own a Disney Dooney!! An absolutely wonderful DIS'er sold this perfect bag to me for a GREAT price; and, even better, she and I both live in the same area so we were able to meet up for the sale. I have not had a chance to take my own pictures of the bag yet, but these are two that she had sent me a bit ago before I bought the bag. I could not have asked for a better bag, DIS'er, or experience with my first Disney Dooney purchase!!!

Not too random, but how tall are you? You look right about my size from your pictures, but not sure about the height.

I'm 5'5, and the bag is a bit big, but I LOVE it! I'm starting law school in the fall, and I wanted something that I could fit my Mac Book in along with my regular purse "stuff." I looked at the medium and the large on our trip last fall, and just couldn't talk myself in to the medium (especially when the large really isn't that much more, cost wise.) I will definitely carry it for other reasons (not just to class), though.

I will post another pic of me with the bag this week, just for you!

Haha! Thanks! I'm 5'7 so if it's not too big for you, it should be fine for me. I have a MacBook too and I'm thinking if it can fit in that bag, it's probably too big for what I'm looking for. I'm excited to see that pic!
