Tink, love your collection. Omg how do you decide which to carry? Or do you just look at them? I only have Mickey Wonder tote with matching wristlet, and cosmetic bag. I have been saving it for my upcoming trip to WDW but now I am worried that being black its too wintery. I would like some opinions please, from other Disney Dooney girls. I don't think the wonder's too wintery at all! It may be black, but I think its bright colors happen to be very summery! I carried my medium sketch almost all winter, even though it might be classified as more summery, and actually broke out my wonder barrel bag and wristlet more recently with the warm weather of spring! So just do what you want, and enjoy your dooneys!

Hi Judy,

I love the black wonder and really don't go by the seasons. I have only carried one of my sketch purses once and I was afraid to get it dirty. On a trip I would use the wonder. Think about all the people and food around you. We just got back from Disney and my daughter had a chocolate ice-cream cone and she accidentaly bumped into my back-so I had chocolate ice-cream on my back and she "cleaned it". It did come out later. I used the cross-body tan and it does show some wear from the trip and I am careful.

You should be able to find whatever pattern you want. I would not buy at the first place if you want a certain pattern placement unless you find it there.

I bought the navy blue and white D&B Mickey pouchette a few weeks ago at TrenD and today the thread unravelled and one end of the strap came right off! I am SO upset because I can't even carry it anymore. We have no plans to return to WDW any time soon so I won't be able to try and exchange it. I guess I'll have to fix it myself??? Has this happened to anyone else? What did you do?

I'll figure out some way to fix it.
I packed it full and put it over my shoulder alot, and given that the strap is not very long, I probably stressed it too much with my use. It should not have happened, but I am not very nice to my purses so not a surprise that I would have this happen either.

I'm sorry that happened to you two. That stinks. Maybe a shoe repair place can fix it. My black wonder tote, the yellow thread on one of the tassels started to come undone when I was at work one day. I tried to be real careful with it until I got home because it seemed like it had the potential to unravel fast. It ended up that I did have to trim the thread a little but before it completely came undone, I was able to "glue" it with clear nail polish to prevent any more unraveling. I'm happy to say it worked like a charm!

SO I have decided to sell my crossbody bag. It just doesn't work for me. I thought I would post here before putting it on ebay. It was only used for a couple of weeks. The only problem I see on it is on the inside the white tag didn't come off all the way. I am sure there is a way to get it off I have just been too lazy. Let me know if you are interested in it. Can someone remind me how much these retail for?

Isn't it great when you get that disney dooney!Glad you your presents. I keep an eye out for the mailman when I buy one.. he barely has a chance to stop when I am dashing out the door! Maybe by June there will be a new pattern and you get to pick out exactly what you want.

I bought myself the purse and had a guilt attack for several days. My daughter, several friends and my Dad all said, "It's about time you bought yourself something nice for a change!" Then my daughter told me she bought me the clutch! I continued to feel a bit guilty, until it arrived.... now, I want MORE!!!!

I doubt I could have gotten too much better placement, but if they get a new pattern, I will have to try...lol. If they do have a new pattern, I may go broke...

I also bought the second edition of the sketch tassle and now all I need to complete my collection is the first edition of the sketch tassle! Even though it is not a Dooney I got a Harvey's tote bag at TrenD-trying to complete that collection also.

My mom got a suprise while we were there-I got her a three pocket over the shoulder tan Dooney and she used it the whole time.

The trip was great! Food was !The hotel was beautiful We stayed in a one bedroom villa at Saratoga Springs and came home with no dirty clothes!!!

Before we left I booked a return trip for 12/16-12/24 at Bay Lake Towers in a studio. It is supposed to have a view of the castle-the CM who booked it said we will have an awesome room and view!!! I tried to switch to a one bedroom villa but he said they were all booked. Doing the Deluxe Dining plan so we will not have to worry about any food-just souveniers and Dooney!

There was a lot of DOONEY in the stores!!!

Please pray for my husband as he is leaving for Iraq instead of Afghanistan in about one month at the most. He will be back in time for our trip, so we all have something to look forward to! He had to get a lot of shots today-he said he felt like a pin cushion.

Does anyone know how to figure out the easiest way to figure out the date you can do you ADR's? I know it is 180 but I want to be exact. Thanks

Prayers for your husband and your family. My son in law has been to Iraq twice. He is being medically chaptered out of the army due to injuries he sustained. The emotional injuries can be more devastating to our soldiers than the physical ones. Prayers for him, and a guardian angel to watch over him ^j^!!! Did you love BLT? Our first trip home is in June!

I did sell the sketch make up case but bought a blue and white large satchel, another large sketch tote, and second edition sketch tassle tote. Now I need the first edition tassle tote. The worst part is I cannot wait for more to be released!!!!

I forgot I got another sketch wristlet, so I have both editions and another crossbody because I used it so much in the park-I am scared of messing it up.

I am curious. When you say you used it and it shows some wear, how much? I am really afraid to bring my purse and am thinking of bringing my clutch in my VB mini hipster. I am especially concerned as it is white, but then again, why have it if I can't enjoy it?

Glad to hear you had a wonderful trip. Of course, no disney trip would be complete without some new disney dooney purchase. My DH is going to Las Vegas for a business conference next week, he asked if I wanted to join him. I said, "no"... But if you need to go to Orlando count me in" Can't pass up a chance of doing some disney shopping!!

On the crossbody the wear is along the top. It is like my clothes colors rubbed off on the purse. So, along the back it has blue smudges. I think it is from my jean capris?

We have not stayed at BLT yet-that is coming up this December!!! I cannot wait! We are thinking of becoming DVC members and want to stay there first. We are booked for a studio but after I booked it I heard they were small, so I am trying to get a one bedroom villa-except they are booked! I called to change it and the CM said to call back every couple of weeks and something might open up. I used a bounceback offer and called to book it while in the park-not the smartest thing. I had a hard time hearing the lady.

I am so excited! I finally found an auction for my "perfect" placement (or at least "nearly perfect") medium sketch tote (v2). I bid and won!

I have the black wonder tassel purse that my sister bought me for my Christmas present when we were at WDW last December. I love it and used it on my recent visit to DL in March.

I have been looking for weeks for a medium sketch tote with Mickey and Minnie on the front, just above the D&B tag, and a castle centered on the back. I found several that were pretty close, but this one is the closest! The only thing that would be better is if the Mickey and Minnie were just a little higher so that the "Disneyland" on the banner was visible above the D&B tag, but who's being picky?


No, really, I searched enough to know this one is about as close as I'm going to get. Poor Dumbo and the Mickey bar are missing, so I'll just have to get a wristlet with those on it. Convenient, huh?

It was a promo from DtD at TrenD in Early March when they launched the pink and blue canvas patterns. They were free with a minimum purchase and limited to a certain number as I recall (like 150 or 200)... some sold on ebay for a while.

I live in Virginia and was at Costco a little earlier today and saw someone in the parking lot with the black wonder tassel. First time I have seen someone other than myself carrying a Disney Dooney!
