Dooney & bourke Disney collaboration part 2

Hi All,

Went to the parks yesterday and thought I'd give an update of what I saw. Uptown Jewelers in Magic Kingdom had version 1 sketch bags! A very limited supply of the Medium sketch and all the wristlets were version 1. I was shocked to see them and I was actually there with a friend that really wanted a version 1 and we never thought we'd find one. I guess it was our lucky day They of course had all the other prints available as well.

I also went to Mousegears in Epcot and they had a very limited selection. A few pieces of version 2 sketch,the new pink minnie, and the blue mickey bags.

I wish I could have taken pictures but I forgot my camera and my cell phone died in the park. Technology and I did not get along yesterday

Ok. What is the difference between versions 1 & 2 sketch? I just bought a medium tote in the sketch pattern 2 weeks ago at Uptown Jewelers. But I have no idea if it's version 1 or 2. How can I tell?

Hi, version 1 sketch has a yellow dooney and bourke banner incorporated into the design. Now, on sketch 2 the dooney banner has been replaced by the lather tag that says dooney and bourke. Also, Minnie was added to sketch 2.

Then mine is version 2. Minnie and Mickey are right in the middle of the front of my bag. Minnie's ears are covered by the base of a strap but Mickey is completely visible. The castle is smack dab in the middle of the back of my bag. Beautiful!

also, version 1s dont have the full mini, they just have the bow, version 1 has a banner that says walt disney world, and then another that says walt disney land on a seperate banner, in pink, where as version 2 has them both on the same banner, and in red. also there is a star with DB that i THINK is not on the version 2. jade is my wife, shes obcessed..... i cant help but know after she talks about them all the time, but its ok. i told her we should have bought the other 2 version 1s and sold them but we didnt

ohh, and the version 1s dont have the big dooney and bourke tag on the front.

I saw them at the Yacht Club gift store the day before yesterday (the first resort gift shop I've seen them for sale at ) ~ and other than that Mousegears & Trend-D at Downtown Disney

I haven't posted on the Dooney thread yet but have been reading along for awhile now! lol

THANK YOU!!! for posting the pics of the purses you found at the WDW stores. I think it will help me make up my mind on which one I want!

I was originally saving up my money for souvenirs on the trip & actually started to make a list of what I want to purchase (so I'd stay on budget!) BUT now I've been obsessing over these Dooneys for a few days on here & ebay...so of course I'm going to spend my money on one of these! Just can't make up my mind yet! I think I'm leaning towards the Wonder Tassel but I also like the tote. I don't like that it doesn't zip though. I'm also not sure if I do decide on the tote if I want the black or white...geez, too many choices! I'm trying to convince DH this would be an awesome Christmas present! haha!

Anyway, does anyone know if they will all be available in December? I don't want anymore surprises. I already might miss the MVMCP (if we have to go in January instead of December) and last night I found out Toontown is closing. So if I miss out on Dooney too...I will be heartbroken for sure!!!

What are the shoes like in the Sunset Couture display? Looked cute but I couldn't quite tell what they looked like.

I believe they're just cute little Disney flip-flops/sandals. I'd have to zoom in on the picture to really remember, but I think the gold ones are meant to look like a lot of popular sandals right now. They have a rhinestone Mickey where most non-Disney ones have a rhinestone circle. The Black ones had Mickey on the sole, and some cute stones. I didn't even really notice them because I'm too short to usually wear flats.

I think I'm going the last week in April with my sister, so hopefully I'll save enough $$$ by then to get a bag. Problem is, I want one of each. I like them all and can't decide, so I'm hoping if I see them in person, it will help me make up my mind. Decisions, decisions...
