Are they sold in parks? If so, is there a great variety? Different than on line?

Yep, they're sold in all of the parks and Disney Springs, but the selection is different at each store.. and all of them have less variety than online. There are a few online that I've never seen in the parks. And vice versa. I'm currently coveting the Avengers bag.

The Shop Parks app has a whole slew of them, including the Force Awakens series. Definitely more than Disneystore.com.

Yes and yes. The best selection in a single store is the upscale purse store on the right side of Main Street in MK, though there are different ones all over and ones online not in the stores.

My advice is that if you see one you really like in a shop, go ahead and buy it because all the shops don't have the same ones. Last year I really wanted the Beach themed one and we saw it at Epcot, but I didn't get it and never saw it again and it wasn't on the app. I ended up ordering from Disneystore.com when I got home, but couldn't get the 10% off with my Disney Visa through them because Dooney are excluded.

I've bought things through the Disney app with no problem and they items no sold on Disneystore.com. I've found the shipping to be a little slow, but its always been packaged very nicely.

The Shop Parks app will also tell you where an item is in stock in the parks or Disney Springs.

The nicest part about buying them in the stores though is the pattern placement. While there are a few patterns where it doesn't matter on most of the bags those of us who are crazy like to search through all the available bags for ones with great placement... Which leads to buying your big splurge purse the first morning of a 23 day trip when you stumble across a brown shopper with a perfectly centered castle on the front... but that may just be us crazy people as I said.

The Shop Parks app is wonderful. Disney released it a year or so ago. It's actually items from the stores on property. When you purchase you get your items just like if you went to the store and asked to have it shipped home. I've placed a lot of orders (they usually have free shipping for X amount). I'll get my stuff in 4, 5 different shipments, depending on which store they have to come from. I'll often even get little personal notes from the CM that packaged the order. It's a nice touch.
