Don't touch that! I need a picture first! TR - **NEW 04/17 PTR IS UP

I think it's best in Japan? :confused3 That seems like a likely answer.

You're probably right

Just a head's up.... you made your first appearance in my TR...

:woohoo: Woohoo! Thanks for the warning

the seminar looks like fun! When I was living there we'd go and do the free Sam Adams beer tasting but I guess that is not longer which is a shame but there would be people that would attend every seminar throughout the day!!!

Free?! Anything free in Disney is a rare occurence!

Hi Jen and Yuki !!Today wouldda been our Meet but now we have it to look forward to next month!!!:banana:

Yups! Next month for sures!

So sad that it didn't happen this month. Although, in retrospect I am kind of happy be delayed it only because it would've been crazy busy at the stores the weekend before christmas. Let's hope January is a bit better.... Did we agree on the weekend of Jan 16th?

And I'd just like to send out a HUGE apology for the lack of updates on here. I have been swamped with work, life, and the like. I'm sure the rest of you can attest to the same thing. In case I don't get another chance, I'd like to take this opportunity to wish you all.....

:santa:HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!:santa:

Naw Jen don't feel bad. A whole lot of us have been neglecting our TRs and PTRs as well.

And yes, we have settled on Jan 15th. I'm kind of glad we didn't meet this past weekend either. It would've been PURE MADNESS.

Jen, I wanted to wish you a merry Christmas! I know how you feel about lack of time, so don't worry! I hope you will be able to relax during the holidays and enjoy them! :goodvibes

Merry Christmas, Jen!! I hope your Christmas is exceptionally wonderful and meaningful!!

Thank you for all the Christmas wishes! It's terrible how this TR is in limbo but I swear after New Year's, I will bring it out of the ashes. Hey, this could be my New Year's resolution: Update my TR more often :rotfl:

I just came across your TR and have to say I'm completely enjoying myself!:goodvibes You have a great, witty style of writing and you and your sister look like a blast together. I wish wish wish I could drag my sister to Disney for a sisters only trip but she isn't quite as enamoured with Disney as I am! So sad, but true! Looking forward to the next update, great job!:goodvibes

:welcome: Thanks for joining in and the kind words :goodvibes Too bad your sis isn't as big as a Disney nut. But I'm sure you have trained your other family members well to go along with you!

Happy New Year Jen!

Thanks redlight! Happy New Year to you too!

We woke the next morning bright and early to get to MK for our Crystal Palace breakfast ADR at 8:25am. I made sure to store my camera deep down inside my TravelMate so there wouldn't be a repeat of the previous night's accident.

We reached the gates to one of the most magical parks in the World just before 8am.

We were inside an empty park just after 8am. I'm not usually a morning person but when it comes to WDW, I will get up at the crack of dawn to enjoy sights like this:

We still had time to take in all the great Halloween decorations that were around Main Street.

And get that must-do, no people in front of the castle, early in the morning on Main Street photo. In the most Canadian way as possible, of course.

After that, it was off to Crystal Palace to check in. I thought this photo makes CP look like a miniature.

It was a gorgeous morning, which gave me high hopes that weather would stay good for the MNSSHP that evening. One could only hope.....

It wasn't long until we were seated inside and being reunited with old friends.

The food was delicious and fresh as always. Surprisingly, I didn't take many photos of our food. I guess I was too enthralled with Tigger and his flirty ways ;)

You can never go wrong with mini-Mickey waffles and fresh fruit with yogurt in the morning! Part of a complete breakfast :thumbsup2

Speaking of fruit (but still totally off topic) my DBF showed me this hilarious video from BBC. It's really great for those techies out there. If you want a good laugh, check out this video.

And now, back to our regular scheduled program....

It was getting close to park opening time but I was surprisingly calm and in no rush to get out of there right at 9am. I probably wouldn't have been able to even if I had wanted because our server disappeared for the last half of our meal. It took us 10 minutes to flag him down to bring us the bill. If it's one thing that bugs me when eating at CP, it's the service. Granted it's a buffet and it's mainly self serve but if you want more juice or coffee, you'll have to pull a few arms, a leg, and even a couple more teeth to get it.

Bubba's feet were really bothering her this morning so to take some of the pressure off, I volunteered to be fastpass runner for Space Mountain. Bubba stayed in front of the castle while I ran over there. I love the pictures she took.

My experience was a little different. I was expecting the usual sea of people to kick and elbow on my way over but to my dismay, there was barely a group of people ahead of me.

Score! So I got our fastpasses, turn around, and to my GLORY who do I meet?

CHIP AND DALE!!!!!!

25qqh52.jpg

It's like they snuck out of the woodwork. Do you see them in the picture above taken from far away? Yeah, that's what I thought! I felt bad that Bubba wasn't there but I knew she wouldn't want to speed walk all the way over there just for Chip and Dale. So I got in line (there was only one family ahead of me) and waited. I just had to get a picture with Space suit Chip and Dale. We had an awesome interaction too. I was wearing those Silly Bandz that are the lastest craze whom Bubba lent to me. Well, apparently Chip and Dale love those things too! They made me take them off and show them each one. Then they put them on their wrists. It was too cute. When I got back to Bubba, she wondered where the heck I had disappeared to. All I had to do was show her the picture and she understood

Now that we had our fastpasses safely in hand, we headed towards Adventureland to start going on some rides.

Coming up next.....

Where is everybody?
Ring around the rides at MK
My first Speedway adventure

You're such a nice sister to make a FiP run!! Providence paid you well with a GREAT shot of your favorite 2 chipmen.

Your empty Main Street shots are spectacular, and I agree, Bubba's shots while you were the runner were great! I especially love that one of the trolley!

I'm like you, not a morning person, but when it comes to vacation I have no problem getting up early. :confused3

Love Chip and Dale in their Space costumes! Hopefully they will still be out in May!

Well... I had to be nice in order for Bubba to ride Dinosaur with me later on... It's funny because that picture turned out better than the photopass did!

I've actually never ridden that trolley. They don't seem to always bring it out though. Bubba was on a picture roll that morning.

I think it has to do with the Disney adrenaline pumping through our veins. It just keeps us going...and going...and going....

I hope so too! I'd love to see them again in your TR :goodvibes

Oh man, I am SO not a morning person at all. My college room mates could testify to that! I've been known to sleep through alarm clocks but at Disney, it's like my body knows when to wake up! We try to eat in the parks before they open too and I don't have a problem getting up early for it. Heck, I've even been known to be quite chipper even! Which is in direct opposition to my normal morning self, DH is fascinated by this phenomenon at Disney!

We really enjoy the Crystal Palace for breakfast, I actually have a slight (ok it's massive) addiction to Mickey waffles. I've been known to plan our breakfasts around restaurants that serve them...:rolleyes1 Your sister took some fabulous shots while you were hoofing it to SM. I love being able to get that uncluttered-with-a-million-people shot of the castle!

You're a good sister to run over to SM and get those FP's!:goodvibes I hope your sister's feet didn't continue to be a problem though. Goodness, I learned the hard way last trip to always always always bring extra pairs of shoes and to never ever try to break in a new pair at Disney. No matter how cute they look on!

Looking forward to the next update!

Thanks for the update. I love the video! You should post that in the Community section!

Tigger looks like he's had a few too many.

Early mornings in the parks are fantastic! I am seriously considering going to some morning EMH in order to get more of that morning time in the parks on my next trip. :goodvibes

Well of course! I'd be disappointed if there was no "thumbs up" in this installment.

That's a pet peeve of mine too. In any restaurant I mean, I've never eaten at CP. You're all done, it'll take 2 minutes to sign the credit card slip and hit the road, but you can't find your server.

You sound disappointed that you didn't get to kick or elbow anyone this morning. :rotfl2:

CHIP AND DALE!!!!!!

Oh geez. Bubba can forget about seeing you again any time soon.

Oh and btw: the stupid server disappears at buffet restaurants dilemma: one tip I once got was: ask for the bill immediately when you sit down - especially in the mornings just tell them that you want to be able to leave quickly when the park opens.

I am SO with you.

I'm glad we agree.

Well of course! I'd be disappointed if there was no "thumbs up" in this installment.

It's become our new theme! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Seriously! But Magdalene gave a really good tip on getting the bill without the hassle.

You sound disappointed that you didn't get to kick or elbow anyone this morning. :rotfl2:

Well, I DID psych myself up to get through the mob of people. It's something that just normally happens in WDW :rotfl:

Oh geez. Bubba can forget about seeing you again any time soon.

:lovestruc It can't be helped!

Early mornings in the parks are fantastic! I am seriously considering going to some morning EMH in order to get more of that morning time in the parks on my next trip. :goodvibes

Early EMHs are nice but I find they are never long enough! An hour goes by pretty fast and before you know it, the flood gates are opened. The best is to get early entry with a breakfast ADR. Then you have the whole park to yourself....or at least with the least amount of people possible.

That's a GREAT idea! Why didn't I think of that?!

I'm glad you liked it :cutie:

Tigger looks like he's had a few too many.

It's funny you say that because there was one time when Tigger was a little hungover.... if you got too close, you could still smell the faint odor of booze
