Fall 2026 itineraries

We were disappointed to see that DCL really hasn’t expanded 7 day options much. I don’t get it. They obviously are having trouble filling their mini cruises.
I think the mini cruises are at a price point the average upper middle class family can barely afford. They make more money having two cruises in one week than having one. The short cruises have always been the money makers for them. I assume they are not stupid and are doing what makes them money.

Everyone looks at the discounts and thinks they are struggling, but even with the discounts they are still priced way above the competitors. It's a mind game they play. You think you are getting a deal, but you are not. They win.

Good point that their discounts are not really a deal.

I think they have trouble selling their longer cruises as well. Hence seeing already *GT rates on the Treasure this fall despite this being the newest ship. The reality is that DCL might have overestimated the amount of people willing to cruise at DCL prices. They have started to „lower“ prices for Wonder and Magic a bit, but they are not sailing out of Florida. So it’s not as noticeable… But I wonder if they can even keep up that price level out of ports that traditionally were struggling filling ships.

I just searched for 7 nights from PE from October through May and there are 11 7 night cruises listed. So about 1.5 7 night cruises per month from PE, which I think is a good change from this year where they are all short cruises until June.

If you look at all other ports which are non PC there are 12 7 night cruises in the same time period. So I think they are mixing it up more and not just sticking to their normal 3/4 or 4/5/5 rotation.

Do I wish they’d added a couple of longer cruises? Yes. But I’m happy with more 7 night choices and I hope if they sell well then they’d add a few more in.
