Don't See Ride photos with Memory Maker Share

I am in a memory maker share, and I see all our photos from the parks....posing....but I don't see any of the ride photos.

When I asked the people at the rides, they say your magic band automaticallly links the ride photos to your memory maker.

I see the memory maker on my MDE account.

Did you just let it do it automatically or did you go up to the register and have them ad?

Ours mostly added automatically but sometimes if it wasn't me but someone else in party it didn't.

I tried several times to go to the counter to add the ride photos, but they always said do u have memory maker...when I said yes... They always said its automatic and shoed me away.

Is the memory maker actually linked to you? If it's in your account linked to Tom and you're Harry, you won't see ride photos.

I got the same answer from a CM today. I don't understand how it would work - how they would know to assign that picture to your Memory Maker acct.

Same here. In a share and I don't see any of our ride photos

We did not have MagicBands, so we used the Memory Maker Card instead. Only the actual Memory Maker Card could be used to capture ride photos. Other members of our party had Photopass cards which we linked to Memory Maker, but they could not get ride photos.

It is my understanding (not 100% positive) with Magic bands, only the person who has the Memory Maker assigned to him/her can capture ride photos. Much like Cais' Tom and Harry analogy.

I got the same answer from a CM today. I don't understand how it would work - how they would know to assign that picture to your Memory Maker acct.

Long range RFID scanners in the ride detect who is sitting where and can assign pictures to your account based on that.

Just got back from a week long trip. Didn't bother with grabbing ride pics but when I logged in to our account they were all there. I am not the owner of the MM acct but I could see the ride pics of everyone that is linked to our account.

If this is true, this is different than how they did it in the last few months.

When I was there you had to go to the counter and physically add your picture to the band with MM. Anyone on my MDE family and friends list could add pictures. As long as we all shared accounts, I saw all the pics.

The only person able to download photos is the MM primary account holder. ANYONE should be able to add photos.

However, it sounds like they're telling people that it adds automatically, which I've seen happen, but maybe only if you're the primary card holder.

I would make sure your accounts are all set up to Share pictures with each other. If someone doesn't have that checked off, then you won't be able to see the pictures.

Just came back from our trip this week... The first CM that we dealt with that activated our Military Salute tickets told us that only the MB of the MM owner would automatically pick up ride photos. We then asked at Guest Relations in MK and the CM there went in, did a few clicks and said that we were good to go.

We were there when they started doing it. I didn't trust it at first and went in and added them even though they said I didn't have to. It looks like they were still working on it and it didn't work all the time. You can try to the form on the photopass site for them to look for it, but I don't know if that works on ride photos. Otherwise, you should ask for some money back imho.
