Holy cow! I'm so sorry, but am very glad that you and your pups are ok. Did they get the person who hit you? DD7 and I were hit (although, unlike you, we were shielded inside of my car) when she was just 14 months old, and the guy tried to run. Thankfully, many bystanders jumped in, chased him down and got him. How long will you be in the hospital?

Glad to see you've at least rescheduled the trip, so that although you can't go as planned, you have a date to look forward to. Feel better very soon!!

I can't imagine that if you were able to customize your bands and pick you FP+ that you wouldn't be part of the test. It would make no sense from an IT or from a customer service perspective. If you arrive and you aren't part of the test, I will buy you a ST .

I have no idea about that. We were able to get paper FPs on top of our FP+s today (we're testing Magicbands). Good luck!

I've never seen lifejackets at the quiet pools but I'm sure no-one will mind if you borrow one from SAB and use it at the quiet pool

Less than 2 weeks to go! My kids know we are going to Toronto, but not when, and do not know about Disney. Unfortunately we have a beastly layover as a result of us coming from opposite ends of the country (DD flying in from out west where she is visiting my sister for a week, we are all meeting up in Toronto airport and the next flight to MCO is 6 hours after our arrival and 5 hours after DDs...). I asked the kids tonight if they had to have along layover would they still want a vacation, and they were unsure, since we've never had that long a travel day before. Hopefully it wont be too trying! I'm rethinking my money saving idea of one night at Pop before heading to the YC in the morning, Might make a call tomorrow to see about what the difference will be to switch...

I'm an expert in long layovers en-route to orlando and from my experience they're not nearly as bad as you'd think as long as you plan ahead . Pack at least 1 electrical appliance per child (thank you to those who invented ipads, DS etc ) and chargers/spare batteries (most airports have an outlet available to re-charge things but I always make sure they're fully charged before we leave home). The other biggie is snacks as everyone in my family gets grumpy when hungry and they inevitably get hungry when bored waiting. Sometimes we try to schedule a sit-down meal if there is a decent restaurant or we book an airline lounge if available and affordable! I would definitely try to forgo the 1st night in pop and stay all in the one place because you will not relish the move the next day after a long travel day Hope this helps

Have had BC CL LV booked for 3 weeks now at Rack rate waiting for the discount for 12/9-12/14.......Boom saved $750 on the whole trip after 2 hours of patiently waiting on hold!

Went ahead and paid it off too! Now the wait begins! SIGH!
