Happy anniversary tomorrow (Aug 4) to Teena and Bob and Happy 13th Birthday to my son, Andrew. This will be the first year in quite a while that we didn't celebrate his birthday with a trip to WDW. But there's always next year!!

You guys that are there now, have a Sunken Treasure or grey goose slushie for me!!

Is Andrew's birthday August 4? That's my sister and niece's birthday too.

Haven't been on boards much - my mom has been staying with us. Since I'm off from work all summer I'm trying to spend as much time with her as I can.

Quick break before heading back to Studios for Brown Derby and Fantasmic

Room on 3rd floor overlooking a huge roof (boo) but a full balcony

Room is nice. Really far from elevator

SAB is very awesome if a bit overwhelming. No trouble with chairs. Fridge is working.

The room is very nice. Clean, bright, roomy with a daybed.

One thing I forgot to mention was at Sports yesterday on checkin the CM gave our daughter a beautiful Minny Mouse retro black and white stuffed animal and our son a Buzz Lightyear car (he was amused) Values are well themed but rooms are smaaaaall. I forgot that

I have customised our bands and selected our FP+, we arrive on 20th August but haven't received an invite yet although I did get an email that said our bands have been shipped to the resort. I guess I won't find out till we get there if we're officially part of the test or not.

I can't imagine that if you were able to customize your bands and pick you FP+ that you wouldn't be part of the test. It would make no sense from an IT or from a customer service perspective. If you arrive and you aren't part of the test, I will buy you a ST .

We had to cancel our YC stay but we moved it to POLY! We are excited to try a new resort but sad to be leaving SAB

Sad yes, but look at the bright side. You will have easy access to some great food including dole whip. I love Poly. Each resort has it's own perks.

When taking the Magical Express from the airport, will that bus only serve the Yacht and Beach Club or will be there other hotels as part of the route and how long to get there? We are meeting my in-laws at the Beach Club and are trying to give them an estimated time of arrival provided our flight is on time (which it will be ) Thanks!

There are other resorts on the same bus line as the BC. We usually tell guests 90-120 minutes after their flight arrives.

Today we stopped at Caribbean Beach, Boardwalk, Beach Club, and Yacht Club, in that order. It was just over 90 minutes from touchdown to arrival at Yacht Club. The last time we stayed here, I think we only went to Boardwalk beforehand. Hope that helps!

I was going to post a almost-live picture of SAB and those threatening clouds that have already been mentioned, but the 4 AM wake up has caught up to me. We had some trouble with the Magic Bands today too, but right now there is someone from IT here from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM, 6 days a week, to help sort out problems. If anyone here now is having problems, he's at the front desk.

Despite the issues, it's fun to have the bands! (Shhh -- we could get paper FPs today too.)

For anyone curious about the Photopass+, yes, you have to redeem the certificates at a sales center despite how the Facebook info can be read.

LOL....last trip to CBR...we used the DME and the stops were BC, YC, BWI AND THEN CBR! Over 2-1/2 hours- touchdown to room. Usually rent a vehicle, but knew we gonna stay on site the whole trip.

That is what seems to be implied by some posts of the theme parks touring board... somebody said they can pull fastpasses for ALL of their room cards, including the one for the 2 year old who doesn't even have a ticket!!! I have to think that loophole will be found and fixed fast.

Less than 2 weeks to go! My kids know we are going to Toronto, but not when, and do not know about Disney. Unfortunately we have a beastly layover as a result of us coming from opposite ends of the country (DD flying in from out west where she is visiting my sister for a week, we are all meeting up in Toronto airport and the next flight to MCO is 6 hours after our arrival and 5 hours after DDs...). I asked the kids tonight if they had to have along layover would they still want a vacation, and they were unsure, since we've never had that long a travel day before. Hopefully it wont be too trying! I'm rethinking my money saving idea of one night at Pop before heading to the YC in the morning, Might make a call tomorrow to see about what the difference will be to switch...
