Yes and No. This is what we know. The Beach Club will be undergoing a refurbishment of all of the rooms starting next year. Like all Disney resorts, I think this happens every 5 years or so.

A definite start date has not been announced. January would be the earliest start date, but it could be later. Work will start on the 5th floor Club Level lounge (which will be moved to the Presidential Suite while work is being done) and then renovations will begin on the rooms, starting on the 5th floor and working the way down.

Disruption and inconvenience to guests will be kept to a minimum- areas of the resort where work is being done will probably be blocked off. Work will only happen during the day while most people are at the parks or pools.

This is my exact plan tomorrow. Leave the house around 5am. Jump on plane at 7. Arrive at 9:30- Magical express to BC hopefully no later than 11. Be at SAB for lunch

I was talking to a DW TA yesterday finalizing plans for my return to BC at the end of September and asked that question . She said it is still in the testing stages and are selecting people via E-mail and asking if they want to participate or not . Of course this can change at any time .

Dee could you add me to the BOG list for the end of Sept beginning of Oct.

Sadly, I have had to re-book my YC stay in November to CR. I missed any availability for the discount for YC, so it's off to the Contemporary we go. I'm sure it will be great in its own way, but I am mourning the loss of the YC. However, it ended up being almost $900 less expensive and I didn't have a justification for that. Hopefully, next trip.....(sniff)

Got my official Fastpass+ invite yesterday. I've had my customized wristbands for awhile now. Says I have until 8/10 to customize lol. Can't wait!

I have customised our bands and selected our FP+, we arrive on 20th August but haven't received an invite yet although I did get an email that said our bands have been shipped to the resort. I guess I won't find out till we get there if we're officially part of the test or not.

Happy anniversary tomorrow (Aug 4) to Teena and Bob and Happy 13th Birthday to my son, Andrew. This will be the first year in quite a while that we didn't celebrate his birthday with a trip to WDW. But there's always next year!!

I believe that HH accepts DDP for QS meals (burgers, sandwiches). Not sure about TiW there.

One of our friends asked about DDP at the pool bar, where she got an awesome ahi tuna- but was told no DDP, but yes TiW, if I recall correctly.

If you search this thread for ahi tuna, I think the discussion happened somewhere around the first mention of the tuna.

Not sure about Boardwalk Bakery.

We we prepared to do the same thing if we couldn't get a discount, but got lucky for our stay. You'll have a great time at CR, and what a savings!!

Can't help with the DDP question, but none of the places above are listed on the TiW web site (tablesinwonderland.com). They may accept the card, but the site just isn't up to date.
