Onwards to lunch. As everyone knows there isn't many choices for counter service in the Disney Studios. My little sister told me we should eat at Pizza Planet because it was so good. I have heard mixed reviews about the place, but since I had always ate at the Backlot Express, I decided we'd try it.
It was a pretty long line, but it was about noon. I ordered a junkyard meal with a rice crispy treat and Eric ordered the pepperoni pizza meal (I can't remember if it is Buzz's or Woody's meal) with a sugar cookie. We were asked if we wanted the regular or large pops. I debated, ya know, trying to get it to be most expensive, but Eric just wanted a regular. This is probably the only meal I wish I had a larger drink! We got up to the pick up counter and waited, and waited, and waited..... I'm not sure how long. Like the entire line behind us got their food before us. Anyways, it turned out it was because of my pizza and everyone who ordered on had to wait. I don't understand why. They were popping out cheese and pepperoni pizzas like they were rabbits. What's worse is, do they tell us that our pizzas are taking longer for whatever reason (I don't care what the reason is, but you could at least tell me I had to wait). Anyways we got our food finally and picked up our salad dressings and silverware and headed upstairs to find a seat. There were a couple of seats open, we found one on the edge over looking the arcade. Total for the meal came to $26.14.
Now, I am going to make some comments I appologize if you don't like them, but it's something I noticed and it bothered me. The table next to us was a family (well for the time it was the mom with a baby and a child about 4 or 5). The mom was on her cell phone the entire time looking the opposite direction. Well the child kept walking back and forth along the railing looking down at the game room. He was not bothering Eric or I. Well the mom gets off one phone call and then screams at him to sit down. Which of course he doesn't. So she grabbed his arm and yanked him over to her side. Then picked up her phone again and started talking. The kid started walking back and forth again and she started screaming at him. Now he wasn't doing anything wrong. He wasn't going more than five feet away from her. And if she just turned around and watched him she would know he was ok. Now she wasn't on any business calls or anything, the second phone call she was on the phone with her husband who was ordering the food. I dunno... It just bothered me.
Anyways, my pizza was good. Garlic-y. Eric liked his. Once we got to the crust, I realized there wasn't much flavor to it. It's alright. The salad was just like any other salad I've had at home. I chose blue cheese dressing and I think Eric got ranch. (I'm very partial to the salads that you used to get at the Plaza Pavillion when it was a pizza shop before.) Anyways, I grabbed my rice crispy treat and put it in my purse to save for later.
When we went to leave, Eric wanted to leave the garbage tray right on the table.

What was he thinking! Like it takes that much arm work to walk it to the garbage that is freakin 10 feet away!
