I want to go, but think I've used all my 2003 points already. I may have to buy more....

I just spoke with a MS CM and she told me that the point charts will be shared on Friday...so we have a few days more to wait before they will provide the info.

I want to go, I want to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My DH says "NO", we are cruising in October and have already borrowed a little over half of our 2003 points so the points thing is out! Trying to go to France to see the Tour de France next July too soooooo. Just a quick 4 day getaway in the dead of winter for just the two of us??? still "no". Should I? probably not. OH WELL, you guys have so much fun and fill the boat in ONE day so they will do it again in 2004!!!!!

oh my, they couldn't have picked a worse week for us, so many conflicts, can I squeeze this one in? I have a commitment on Sat night 2/1, so I could leave on an early Sunday AM flight. I have a commitment on Thursday night, I could catch a flight by noon and get back for that. Airfare that doesn't have a Sat night stay, OK that's a problem, it's over $1000. DS has band solo contest on Saturday, 2/8, will he practice enough during the week without me here? Oh, this isn't fair, why did they have to tempt me like this?

I spoke w/MS this morning who said they were notified today that they would post information about this on the DVC website. I checked as I was on the phone w/her, but nothing had been posted. I just checked and it's just announcing the cruise, but no other details...(such as points, cash, etc.

I can't stand the waiting any longer.........Would it be wise to use the point chart from the 10th anniversary cruise for something to go by??? I need something...I can't keep still...adding and subtracting points....

You guys are killing me. I won't have the vacation time to take 4 days off in Feb . TWO DAYS AT CASTAWAY CAY - HEAVEN.

One thing to note, I would probably bet they will till do Nassau since this is a 4-day cruise. They will just get rid of the Day at Sea.

I spoke with MS about 30 minutes ago. They were told they will have the website updated tonight with the point & cash amounts. She also said that they (MS) will have the info tomorrow.

Anyone out there who did the April DVC cruise? What was different or added for us DVCers?

Robin, you and I are dying together! My husband says we can go as long as I don't miss the band events for DS on Sat & thurs and if I can get a decent airfare. American Airlines is killing me with a Sun-thurs fare of $1063!

Could you leave late on Saturday night, thereby get a cheaper airfare with the stayover Sat night requirment met?

My son has his biggest band concert/fund raiser of the year on Sat night, I'm in charge of something, the latest flight out is 9, not late enough. Sometimes you just can't do that Sat stayover, the AA price difference between a sat & sun departure is $800, that bites! Flying Southwest to MCO out of Dallas is impossible without staggering flights, we are restricted out of Dallas to contiguous states. I couldn't put a SW flight plan together that would get us there in time on Sunday. We just dropped our Advantage account too low with our vacation this summer. I guess this is trying to tell me I just shouldn't be so hot to do this. I'm bummed!

I am curious as to how many points or cash will be needed for this DVC cruise. I think it is a great idea. My question is, who will be staying at the WDW DVC's during those dates in February.

I'd like to do it but alas...we are squeezing in DIS CON in Dec and are planning on Cruising in March2....Oh Well....

My SIL was on the last DVC cruise this past year and said it was alot of fun......but alas she is doing a 7 day the next week so she won't be able to attend either......

Just received our pamplet in the mail.Fingers are getting itchy to dial. Was at a few member updates this summer and talked to some folks that had been on the last one and they loved it and would do it again in a heartbeat.

Okay, I know how many points I have available, I have an idea of what the flights will cost, so that's set.

My problem is that we might be traveling on 8/24.

Any DVCer's out there who wouldn't mind me knocking on your door at 9:00am so I can use your phone???

They've posted preliminary details on the cruise on the DVC Web Site. There will be a special booking period beginning Saturday, August 24th at 9:00am. Reservation points will be on the web site under Member News soon. 2 days at Castaway Cay is confirmed!!!! Can't wait until Saturday.....

Maybe, we can get better rates through DVC or DCL. I've never booked airfare through DVC before, do you think that they will include airfare with the cruise if we pay cash, and if so, will DCL book the airfare or DVC and will they get us on a flight of our choosing, or are stuck with what they give us? Our schedule is tight, we have to fly out Sunday AM nonstop and return Thursday, mid afternoon. My only hold up right now is getting the flight times I need for a decent price. I found some lower prices on Orbitz, but the flights all connect and can't get us there in time. Oh dear, how can I wait until 8/24 to have all of these questions answered?
