What is your best tip about things to pack besides the obvious?

A few packing tips I picked up here that were a huge help to me in the past were: body glide, a sharpie, ziplocks, disposable ponchos.

I have a trip coming up and I'd love to read what you take that helps you solve an issue or just makes your trip more enjoyable.

Ibuprofen and Pepto/Maalox. Head aches and body aches are a daily occurrence. And chowing down on super rich foods I normally don't eat can give me a really unhappy stomach.

Get the clickable sharpies. No top to lose and it's easier for the gloved characters to use.

We take the tubes of glow bracelets from the target dollar spot or the dollar store. We pull them out for dimly lit ride ques and to avoid buying the night time light up stuff.

Moleskin. Finally got some for this trip and it really helped with the blisters that always develop on my little toes. Wore it for 2 days and then by the 3rd day I didn't need it anymore.

I take a small first aid kit (band aids, moleskin, tylenol, ibuprofen, solarcaine and aloe (for sunburn), tummy stuff and cold meds). Most of those things are pretty expensive at tourist destinations and WDW is no exception. :)

A pair of scissors is invaluable

Large ziploc bags

Plastic hangers

Antibacterial wet wipes. Good for cleaning off tables/chairs as well as sticky little (or big) hands!

On our January trip, I was very thankful I packed those stretchy knit gloves! I know it's not a year-round tip, but I will definitely always pack a couple pairs for any trip Nov-Feb. They made us a lot more comfortable on a few mornings that started in the 30s.

We also took an external battery charger. It was nice to be able to charge our phones at lunch or while sitting down for a snack/rest in the afternoon without having to find an outlet. We didn't need it every day, but we used our phones a lot more in the parks this trip, so it came in handy a few times.

I don't know if you have little ones traveling with you, or if you will be renting a stroller, but when our kids were smaller and we rented one we found that all the strollers parked in the cueing areas were identical looking and hard to locate your own. (Sometimes they were even moved from the place where you parked it making it making it more difficult to locate). I brought a cheap, bright bandana from the dollar store and brought it with us to tie on the handle so we could quickly locate our own. Problem solved!

Pop up laundry hampers from Dollar tree. Makes it so easy to keep the room organized.

Lightweight portable battery pack(s) for your phone. No need to search out a charging station. Best $30 I have EVER spent.

Other than some that have already been mentioned...

If you're not flying, scissors! I can't tell you how many times we've needed them for basic things like opening blister packs of items brought with us, to removing tricky tags from new purchases, to some totally random things, haha!

I had scissors on my list, too. You can take them even if you are flying, just put them in checked bags. :)

Extra socks and underwear. There is nothing worse than walking around in wet socks and underwear, and even after socks air dry, they don't feel right.

Chargers for your electronics. Flavor enhancers for water, either packets of powder or the squeeze bottles. Everyone complains about the taste of Florida water (I've never noticed it, but then again I grew up in FL), and that will kill any funky taste.

Bandaids (I splurge and get Disney ones for trips from tears to smiles), neosporin spray, doctors information, allergy meds, Tylenol, foot powder, moleskin, nail clippers, copies of everyone in your groups cell numbers, pocket things of tissues..

I never had an issue with it either. Trust me there are places the water tastes so much worse.

I bring water bottles because you can get free iced water in the parks and you won't spill on rides

This may sound funny, but duct tape! Cuz, you just never know when you might need it! That was my oldest DS's contribution a few trips ago and believe it or not, we used it several times (usually to tape down shampoo bottles).

Clothes pins. To use on open food packages, drip dry bathing suits (rooming with 5 people, there's just not enough room to hang over shower rod), pinning drapes together, making a long poncho shorter, weights on bottom of curtains so the a/c doesn't blow them around. The list is endless.
