Don't eat that! Let me take a picture first! 7 nights on the basic DDP. Complete 5/5

Great so far. I love Le Cellier. We have gone our last 3 trips, and I plan to skip it in August because we want to try some new places; Chefts, Tutto, and Marakesh. But after seeing your I really want to go back to Le Cellier.

I love Le Cellier. I love the trvia game they play! It's cute.

The cream chesse poatoes are the best from there!

She doesn't like red meat haha, so I don't know what I am going to do. Actually, I think DD could be a vegetarian. But yes, I do remember everywhere we went the chef's warning us about any bakery item, we stayed away just in case. I thought they had pasta though?
I think they do have pasta. That should work. :thumbsup2

Since our dinner at Le Cellier didn't vary much from our lunch, I'll go ahead and talk about that now....

We enjoyed our fabulous lunch so much that we ordered almost exactly the same thing when we returned! :thumbsup2

We were even lucky enough to have Chelsea again as our server!!!!! :cheer2:

This time we were seated in a nice quiet booth back behind the fireplace. It was so much nicer than our cramped table. :goodvibes

DS7 started with....
you guessed it, carrots! This time the serving was much smaller, but still plenty.

DS9 had the soup again, and since he wouldn't share - AGAIN.... I ordered a cup for myself. I have to say, It was fantastic! It was very thick and creamy with a nice cheddar and peppery bite. It had a garnish of peppery bacon and green onion. It was wonderful alone or as a dip for the breads.

The kids attacked the pretzel bread faster than I could pull out the camera. :rotfl:

And DH started with another Maudite.

This time both boys decided to go with the steak and fries. This was DS7's first steak in a restaurant, and he LOVED it. :thumbsup2
It looks really small in the picture, but it really was enough for both boys. DS7 didn't even finish all of his.

DH and I both had filets with mashed potatoes again.

I don't know how they did it, but these were even better than the one we had earlier in the week.

We finished off with the same desserts.

It was DS9's request to eat here twice on this trip. I was afraid it would be too much, but I was wrong! I'm thinking we may try to do a lunch and dinner every trip. It was that good! :goodvibes

Love your bonus picture!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL

Ooh, love that last picture you posted - delicious indeed

Le cellier looks fab - my DH is gutted that they have stopped doing the maple glazed filet as it was his absolute favourite. Don't think we'll be returning unless they bring it back - he hates mushrooms and I know you can get it without but then it's just plain steak and mash!

Wow! 2 meals at Le Cellier! :yay: How awesome! I would love some of those cream cheese mashed potato and a chocolate moose right now!

Oh... and that bonus pic...TOTALLY yummy. ;)

Yes, you did order my exact meal from start to finish!! We were there in January 2008 for our first time and were thrilled that all the good things I had read here on the DIS were how our meal was for us. Le Cellier is now on our "places to eat" list every time! The whole family loved it.

Enjoying your reviews so far!:thumbsup2 Lookinf forward to Le Cellier. We never went and I've wanted to try it!

After our big lunch at Le Cellier, we spent some more time in Epcot (our favorite park). We then headed over to the Magic Kingdom for dinner. We had the great timing  to arrive just as SpectroMagic started. We went left as we entered the park and got stuck waiting for the parade to end. So we were swimming against the crowd as we headed over to Adventure Land. I'm not sure where all my DIS skills were this night! :confused3:confused3:confused3 Because we wanted to eat at Columbia Harbor House. :headache: We had to watch SpectroMagic AGAIN before we could get across to CHH. :scared1: And once again we were in a mad crush of people and strollers in the dark.....
BUT we finally got there!

It was definitely worth the trouble! The food was really good for a CS. :thumbsup2

Unfortunately, I was still figuring out how to take non-blurry food pictures, so these aren't too good. AND I forgot to photograph about half of the food. Sorry.

The boys had Chicken Nuggets and Fish Combos. with fries and apples (I did get a picture of a partial meal). DH and I both had the Anchors Aweigh Tuna Sandwich with chips. I've read a lot about this sandwich and finally decided to give it a try. It is really good! The bread is a nice multigrain with a dense chewy texture. The tuna is all white meat with just enough mayo to hold it together, no pickles, and no other veggies that I could detect. I think it may have some onion or celery, but IF it does it is grated so small that you can't see it. It is excellent! If you like tuna salad that isn't sweet, definitely give this a try.

We followed up with 2 chocolate cakes and 2 apple crisps. Sorry, but I can only find pictures of the cake. DH said that the apple crisp was OK. He didn't rave about it. I really liked the chocolate cake. I don't usually like icing, but this wasn't too heavy and the cake was very moist. The portion isn't huge, so it makes a nice dessert.

Part of a Tuna Sandwich. I almost ate the whole thing before I remembered to take a picture.

This is a very good choice for a CS. We took our food upstairs and had an almost private dining room. We did have some fun with a malfunctioning ketchup dispenser. It shot out so hard that it blew the cup out of my hand and made me scream! :lmao: So then DS had to try it too. Well, it scared him just as bad!

The Anchors Aweigh sandwich @ columbia harbor house is soooo yummy.. :confused3 I don't know why since it is just a tuna sandwich...must me the magic of Disney that makes it so good!

Thanks for the previous bonus picture :lovestruc ...now at least it is not just the food I am drooling over!! :goodvibes

I wish my picture had turned out better! It was SOOOOOO much better than it looks. :goodvibes

Cool! I found my receipt for our lunch at Le Cellier. The yummy pink drink I had is listed as: P NA Lava Smoothie

If you like raspberry, give it a try! It was really good. I liked it much more than the chocolate raspberry one. :goodvibes

Thank you for sharing that the sandwich does not have onions or celery that you could detect. I can't handle when my tuna crunches even though I like celery and onion. So I will give this a shot instead of making DH get it and then making him trade me if it met my criteria.

I love reading and seeing pics of all the different foods in WDW. My first foray into the DDP, what would be my best CS bets? The most bang for my buck....
