DON'T CRY OR WE'LL RIDE DINOSAUR AGAIN! A Spring Break TR---Final Thoughts 5/5

Well, I'm all caught up! Great trip so far! :thumbsup2

Poly looks great, I would love to stay there someday. Wondering if I should try Ohana's next trip...

I have always loved the Poly each time I've stayed there. There's just something magical about it----I FEEL like I'm at Disney World when I'm there. :goodvibes

We really enjoy the breakfast at 'Ohana. We liked the dinner, but they have changed the menu several times, and taken away a few of the things we really liked. They still have the meat---a lot of it---and that wonderful bread pudding for dessert. :lovestruc We just happen to enjoy the breakfast more. :thumbsup2

Great updates!

When I saw Rachel and that statue at the Poly, I remembered something I had noticed in a picture I took of my aunt and uncle at 'Ohana on our Dec trip - notice the statue behind them, it's sticking its tongue out, too! Maybe it's some kind of a theme? :confused3 Does anybody know??

You know 'Ohana dinner is my favorite! We never had the potatoes, but the noodles are actually my favorite part of the meal (so are the wings, and the bread pudding, and the bread, and the...) :) We've never had breakfast there but I have a reservation for our summer trip...however, I'm not sure if we'll be keeping it. I also made one for Kona breakfast and, of course, for 'Ohana dinner. ;) We spend so much time at the Poly on our trips, it almost feels like we've stayed there, though we never have. It's on our list. :thumbsup2

We've never been to Tom Sawyer Island either, maybe I did as a child but I don't remember. I think we're going to wait until the girls are a little older - I've heard it's a no-stroller zone. :upsidedow

When I snapped that picture, my sister asked me if that was going on the trip report, and I said, "Absolutely!" :lmao:

Sounds familiar.

I'm with you on that Kona dinner. It will be so good. We've got to get to 'Ohana for dinner, too. We've only done breakfast there, but our guys would love all the meat at 'Ohana.

Shortalls vetoed on your PTR and now ruffle skirt thingies with umm, tight leggings are ousted here...guess I must rethink my entire summer wardrobe!:rotfl:

Great pictures, as always. Love the close up of the castle.
We've never done Tom Sawyer Island but I had it as a definite for the summer. Now I'm not so sure...:confused3

I know what you mean about Tom Sawyer Island can exhaust you. I get exhausted just trying to walk over the barrel bridge. But, I also have a family ahead of and behind me who are jumping up and down making the darn thing bounce all over the place.

Big Thunder Mountain......can't wait to take a ride or two on that baby!

We've seen some very interesting wardrobe choices while in Disney too. I often wonder if they actually think they look good or if they do it for shock value. Now that you've posted that picture, I need to go back and see if I can find a picture of a weird wardrobe lady that I snapped a picture of in 2008.

:rotfl: Well, I've never noticed that one from your picture. I wonder what it is with all those tiki gods and sticking out their tongues?

I can't wait to have my dinner at Kona. Right now, I'm leaning toward the coconut-almond chicken. :cloud9:

Your guys would love all the meat at 'Ohana dinner. That and the bread pudding! YUM!

If that's what you've planned for your summer wardrobe, then YES---replan it! :rotfl:

Tom's island...............To each his own--- Your kids might enjoy it. :)

Oh, please do! I went in 2008, I sure hope it's not me!

I love all of your pictures!

The chick with the ruffle skirt and tights looks...interesting. I wonder if she just randomly picks things out of her suitcase and puts them on without looking. Or maybe she's trying to dress like a 3 year old girl.:confused3

I've never been to Tom Sawyer Island either and I have no interest in going. My DS doesn't know it exists and what he doesn't know won't hurt him. ;)

I don't think you have anything to worry about as I can't see you wearing (if I am remembering correctly but I know I'm close) a western shirt with tassles, bright red jeans tucked into black and red cowboy boots carrying an umbrella. Oh and she wasn't a small lady and it was the middle of August!

 I live by that philosophy, too!

Some people have interesting taste. :goodvibes

That's a nice way of putting it...................................;)

:scared1: Uh, no, Lisa, I do not own any red jeans, or cowboy boots for that matter!

Today, we were heading over to EPCOT.

 I’m having a hard time remembering all the details, but it seems as if we went to Soarin’ first thing. We got fast passes to use later, and then jumped in the stand-by line. Soarin’ was great, as always! When we finished, I think we may have criss-crossed over to Test Track to grab a fast pass for later.

We then decided to visit a little fairy garden. :goodvibes

We saw everyone’s favorite, Tink.

We saw several of Tink’s friends.

We walked through the butterfly house.

We saw this very large, colorful butterfly. ;)

After exiting, we grabbed a “mission” from the Kim Possible station. We were to report to Norway sometime after noon.

By then, it was time to wander over to World Showcase.

Next---lunch, a troll, and a secret mission

i totally love the Flower & Garden Festival. It's always so beautiful. I hate that they ended it early this year because I really wanted Mama to see it.

I love the fairy garden pics. I didn't know they had that. Never been there during F&G.

I can't wait to hear about the KimPossible mission. I'm thinking we might try one or two of these.
