Done with Induction!!!!

:bounce: :bounce: I made it through my 2 week Atkins induction!!!! :bounce: :bounce: It was very difficult at times, alot of temptations with Easter and birthday parties, but I learned how to have alot of willpower and coasted right through. I never imagined I could live without my soda, pasta and bread but now I find myself wondering how I ever ate that stuff..LOL!
I finally weighed in this morning and lost 13lbs so far :eek: I've decided to stay on induction until the end of this week and then start working a few carbs back in slowly..
Thank you ALL for all the support and answering my endless questions. I couldn't have done it without you WISH'ers!!
 

Great job - mind sharing what your menus looked like? That is an awesome weight loss. Congrats!

i know what you mean i wonder how i ever ate all the bread pasta and drank all the soda i use to

Tiff, I just tried looking at my personal journal (that I kept on my pc here at home) but apparently something isn't working, so I will try to give you the gist of what I've been eating :p

Usually for breakfast I had eggs of every variety, lol. Scrambled (made with water after one WISH'ers suggestion and it was YUMMY and FLUFFY!!), sunny side up, hard boiled, deviled...omelet with a few mushrooms. I pretty much ate eggs for breakfast every morning until I thought I would start clucking..then I took a day or so off and just had the meat. I would have bacon, sausage or sometimes left over kielbasa and put that into an omelet. I always drank one of my Fruit 2 O's at breakfast because it made me feel like I was drinking juice :D

For lunch I had hamburger patties w/ one slice of american cheese and mayo, turkey burgers (From Schwan's...they were wrapped in bacon..YUM!), kielbasa, etc. Basically a meat item and a small salad. I found that if I sliced 1/2 a cucumber and snacked on it while I ate my burger, I felt like I was eating chips! Pretty neat, for me anyway! Again, I drank a bottle of Fruit 2 O.

For Dinner I would have what my family had, except for the days I made them pasta, lol. Steak, burgers on the grill, fish on the grill, etc. I would usually steam 1/2 cup of broccoli or cauliflower and still have 1 cup of lettuce for a side salad.

By the end of the day, I usually end up drinking 5 16oz bottles of my Fruit 2 O...I love those things!

LOL - I know what you mean. Sounds like you're doing awesome! I actually worried last night if I was eating too much salad and celery to lose weight and then I realized how ridiculous that was! I certainly didn't get fat off of salad and celery. Glad to hear the Fruit 2 O's aren't stalling your weight loss. Have you had the Fruit 2 O Plus? Supposedly they have herbs in them and one even has caffeine! They're yummy too. Thanks for taking the time to give me some details. Keep up the good work!
