I was wondering if anyone can comment on this character breakfast. Your opinions and comments welcome.

Thanks

Kim

I would like to know also as we are wanting to book this for the morning we are planning on going to the AK park for the day. I hope someone answers the post and we get some pics maybe and opinions :)

I havent eaten here yet, but DH and I have an ADR for this August!

I highly recommend it.

The food is really good with a lot of variety and the characters visited our table 2-3 times.

It is supposed to be closing down. We ate there quite a few years back and enjoyed the buffet. The character interaction was nominal from what I recall.

No, it's not. It just opened last year. I believe you are referring to the old Donald's Breakfastsaurus breakfast. This is a completely different restaurant.

we just ate here last month, it was by far the best character breakfast buffet in wdw and we did several on deluxe dining. food was awesome characters good too. did i mention food was awesome??? :yay: we are going back at the end of august...

We loved it! One of the only bfasts with Daisy Duck, so my DD4 was thrilled. The food was very good, service excellent. The characters get the kids up and do a conga line. LOTS of fun:))))

We ate at the Tusker House, not sure if this is the breakfast you're referring to, and it was delicious! I would make ressies there again in a heartbeat! There were SOO many food choices and the character interaction was wonderful.

Have a great trip!

ooh, glad to hear great experiences. i have about 20 days till i can book my adr's and this is the first breakfast character meal i'm planning.

We were there Friday and it was great! The food was really good, the service attentive, and the character parade was fun. This is our new favorite character breakfast and we've done them all.

Thank you for sharing all your thoughts and opinions, I booked it for our upcoming trip, and I had never heard anything about it, so thanks again for the advice..

If anyone ate here before park opening, could you give some description of what rope drop was like... Any one head straight for EE? Did you beat the crowd from the gate, or were you behind?

Sorry for so many (specific) questions!

Because the earliest reservation you can get here is 8am I don't know if you would actually have enough time to sit down and eat and be finished with your meal and paying and everything before 9am when the park opens. Maybe someone else will have an answer for you.

Why did the change the space from Dinoland USA to Tusker House? Does it have the same food as Breakfastsauras (spelling???) We are going in Sept.

Tusker House is a totally different location from where they used to have Donald's Bfastosaurus (which is in Dinoland). That location is now a full time counter service restaurant. Tusker House is in Africa, and the theming and menu is now "African". I found the food selection actually better at Tusker. And they still have Krispy Kremes!!!:yay:

I knew they moved I just wondered why. Thanks for the info.
