Donald's Safari Breakfast ADRs

I just got mine 8:00am on 1/12/08. It took awhile but the CM was great. The CM did have to reboot his computer and I ended up having to make it for 2 tables as right now they are allowing allowing 8 people on one reservation. He also mentioned that alot of times are already completely booked so I'm glad I called after reading the posts this morning. This will be a surprise for one in our group as he loves donald duck.....

I got mine at 8:05am for January 9th. The CM said it JUST opened up about an hour ago. I'm so excited!

Booked lunch on 12/27... had my choice of times. Decided to forego breakfast characters - don't like giving up my peak morning touring time, and having done our share of character meals, I am at the point of just preferring to enjoy my meal rather than constantly jumping up with my cameras, autograph books, etc.

I'm just happy to finally have my itinerary complete - no more holes! The only question is whether I might want to switch over to Y&Y when it finally comes on line... maybe dinner there?

Okay, I called back and canceled this and booked the breakfast at 10:30. Decided I was being grouchy and that Donald Duck meets are rare enough that we should go for it.

Thanks so much to this website for keeping me up to date - having your choice of dining times for Christmas week is a very nice luxury.

Called Last night and they were no taking reservations....BUT TODAY they were and I got Dec. 9th at 8:10am... WOO HOO

Thank you Dis boards!!! I just got home and read the message boards and immediately dialed! I have a reservation for Dec. 2nd at 8:00 am!! The cm first said, "We aren't accepting reservations - Oh wait - we are!" She asked me too how I knew this was happening and I said the Dis boards! She thanked me for the information! Funny!

Did anyone ask for the prices for breakfast and lunch? I made lunch instead on breakfast ressies because I thought I read somewhere it was less expensive for lunch because there were no characters. I was quoted $19.99 per adult for lunch, which if I read a post earlier correctly is $1 more than the character breakfast. Anyone else get a quote on lunch prices?

Yeah! I got mine for 11/18 at 8:25. The CM was looking up the characters and I listed them for her. She laughed and said that those on the boards knew more than they did as it is all new info to them!
