Just like it reads .. would you go back to Donald's Safari Breakfast again? We are trying to decide if this would be a good character meal for our boys (ages 8, 6 and 4). Let me know what you think:) Thanks!

Definitely - it's one of our favorites!! We enjoyed the food - great variety, and the kids loved that they had doughnuts! We also enjoyed the characters, though they don't spend a ton of time with you. Very fun though - good atmosphere, and really the food was very good for a buffet!

We thought it was pretty good and would prob go back but I think Tusker house is better so we plan to go there again the next trip.

Yes, definitely! We were there in May with DD 3 (turned 3 that week) and we all enjoyed it. Good food and character interaction.

This is my favorite character meal ever. The interaction with the characters is great...I'm assuming they still do Mickey, Goofy, Pluto, Donald, and Daisy. For my kids, that covers pretty much every "must" photo.

My kids love the selection of food. The congo line/dancing gets all the kids...and some adults...involved.

Plus, if you get the early seating you can have someone in your party run and get fast passes for the safari while you're waiting to be seated...saving a ton of time! One warning: try to book your breakfast on a day that isn't an EMH day at AK. On non-EMH days you can give your name at the rope and they'll walk you back to Tusker House...so you're nearly at the back of the park before the rope ever drops!

The first time we ate there was when it was at Donald's Restaurantasaurus...before it moved to Tusker House...and we were finishing breakfast just as people were making their way into the park!

Thank you all so much for the input!! It is greatly appreciated!!

We did it in December and I'm going to say no. It was great getting into the park before opening, but the character interaction wasn't great (Donald didn't come to the table; only poses for paid-for photos prior to seating) and the food was abundant, but just plain awful. Even at the first reservation of the day we found the food cold and/or stale.

Food- good with lots of variety.

Characters- rushed interaction and just a quick picture with Donald before the meal.

Atmosphere- total chaos and noisy.

We might go back, but like some of the other character breakfasts better.

Donald's Safari breakfast is AT Tusker House

LOL I was thinking of the other one.... Donald's breakfasorus (Something like that) :upsidedow, which I guess they dont have anymore.

In that case, we love it and would go back again and again. lol

The Food was OK

But the place is jammed pack with people and way to loud. You are sitting on your neighbors, while the interaction is fine, you are half sharing with the people around you.

I am not going back this trip, it was an overwelming morning.

We really enjoyed the food, service and characters when we went with DD5 last January :cool1: We are going back on our upcoming trip, 3 more sleeps until we arrive :thumbsup2

TH breakfast has become our favorite meal at WDW. The food was the best of all the buffets we tried. The characters were fun too and my daughters loved the little parade around the dining room. Definitely a must do. We loved breakfast so much that we're doing it again in June and trying lunch there another day. :thumbsup2

We went for our first time 2 weeks ago and it was very good. The doughnuts were delicious --glazed like a Crispy Creme! I thought the food was good for a buffet. Character interaction is okay -- I feel rushed at every character meal so I can't say this one is more rushed than any other one. I will return here on my next trip.

A lot if good to know information:goodvibes

Does anyone have any other suggestions for a character breakfast that could possibly be better if you were not a fan of this one???

I like Crystal Palace for breakfast too. Love me some Pooh and Piglet. BUT, of the two, the food at Tusker House is better to me. If I HAD to choose between the two I'd go for TH. I am a Chef Mickey's hater, so you won't get a recommendation for that one from me. ;)

We went this past October and loved it, and we didn't even have our kids with us! We are going Thanksgiving 2011 with the kids this time!
