We did every character meal you can do on the last trip, with the exception of 1900 Park Fare, and of all of those Tusker House is the only one that we chose to do again.

I think that says a lot.
As for the people saying that the interactions are rushed, honestly, the only place that they weren't rushed was Cape May. Everywhere else, it was just about the same. To be fair though, at Crystal Palace they did all come around twice, but it was much more of a zoo in the sense that people kept having their children run around and stalk the characters, even when they were trying to divide their attention equally.
My only suggestion though, with TH, aside from getting the earliest reservation you can get there, is to insist on being seated in the main dining room, the larger one. We were seated in a side room closer to the bathrooms and it was rather loud and cramped in there. The main room looked a little more comfy in that sense.
And, just for the record, Donald does indeed come in from outside and come to your table. I have the pics to prove it. And of the photo package pictures that you take outside (Ohana, Akershus, Tusker House, and Chef Mickey), none of them were included with my pre-ordered photopass, they were all extra. If you eat at Cinderella's Royal Table, your pic with Cindy is included in your breakfast cost, that is why it is so pricey. All other places were around $30 for the package and Ohana is just a pic of you in lei's, no characters. It was similar at Chef Mickey's were your pic is of you and a small statue of the Mouse.
