Hi! Just wanted some advice we are going to Disney in June and I am trying to select one Character Breakfast (we did Chef Mickey's last trip). I had decided on Donald's Breakfastosarus for the simple reason this is our third trip to Disney and we have yet to see Donald. However, after reading up on the Epcot Princess Breakfast my dd 6 thinks she would rather go there. She is more a Mulan and Jasmin fan than the classic princesses and I had read they will be there. So now I can't decide any advice from those who have went to either one would be appreciated. :confused3

Also, I have read the thread about the princess breakfast and the castle so now I wonder should we do it. Is it worth the hype.

Thanks!

It was a toss up this year between Crystal Palace (Pooh and Pals) and Donald's (Donald, Goofy, Mickey, Pluto, and I think Chip and Dale) . They are both good.

We took my nephew (with downs) and two nieces last summer. They loved it. The cast memers like to play jokes on the adults. It's fun.

Sorry haven't been to EPCOT's DD isn't into princesses anymore.

Hi. We've done both - we did the Donald brkst. in 2003 and we did the Princess Brkst. last year in June. The princess one is really good - all of the princesses come to the table and talk to the girls. I thought it was expensive but my girls were soooo excited about seeing the princesses they barely ate anything. My one daughter couldn't eat (too excited) and they still charged her. I didn't like that but I didn't argue with them over it. Didn't want to ruin it for the girls. Donald's breakfast was a lot of fun - it was also a buffet which I think my girls like better. So, I guess if you really want to see Donald then you should go there - but if she wants to see Mulan, etcc the princess breakfast would be perfect. I know when we have gone to Chef Mickey's we have always seen Donald in the front greeting the kids and taking pictures the last two years we were there. I'm not sure if this helped or not but I thought I would share our experiences.

We've done them both. I think the food is better at Akershus. I also thought the character interaction was better at Akershus.

Two huge differences: Donald's is a buffet which many prefer. It's all you can eat with the Princesses but it's family style. The characters are completely different. My two girls 4 and 7 prefer the princesses to Donald and Goofy.

We like both experiences and are doing both of the meals in May/June.

Good luck with your decision.

We did the Norway breakfast and it was mediocre. I wouldn't do it again. The food was so so and the Snow White was ugly! Sorry to say that, but it's true. I like meeting the princesses in the Judges Tent and not waste the money on those bad breakfasts.
