I know I read somewhere that one of these properties had recently be renovated, but I can't find where and I don't remember the answer.

The bottom line is which would you pick? I'm nervous about staying at a property that isn't Disney's after so many trips to their resorts. However, finances dictate that the Swan/Dolphin may be our best bet.

Please help. We need to make a decision NOW. We've dragged our feet and our trip is little over a month away.

Thanks.

We stayed at the Dolphin & loved it, so for our next trip, we are staying at the Swan.

We liked the Swan, even though our room had not yet been renovated when we checked out on March 17. It was quiet and tidy. The location couldn't be beat.

We made our first trip to the Dolphin last August on the terrific teacher rate. Too good to pass up and it was affordable to stay at a deluxe. I, too, was very nervous about staying at a nonDisney resort - we have always stayed at Disney resorts. I, too, read reports on this Board about the S/D and it eased my worries. Our stay at the Dolphin was magical! The location is wonderful, the resort was lovely and whimsical, pool was awesome! I did not feel that I did not have the Disney magic - we were surrounded by it!

Haven't stayed at the Dolphin, but stayed at the Swan, in a renovated room in January. The room was great, the beds are awesome!! We would highly recommend it. This was the first Disney trip of many that we did not stay at a "Disney" hotel. We loved it. The location can't be beat.
