Dolphin gov't rate vs. Disney mod

I can't believe I'm having trouble deciding this !

I'm going to split my stay again between 3 nights cheaper, and then 3 nights at a Boardwalk villa.

The Boardwak villa is now all set.

So...I will do 3 nights ( somewhere)
for Dec. 3, 4 and 5.

I'm trying to choose between The Dolphin or a Disney Mod.

Please correct me if I'm wrong...

The Dolphin is currently $ 129.00
plus 11% tax, plus that stupid 10.00
resort fee each day.

A Disney Mod is $ 133.00 plus 11% tax. Am I correct on this ?

I can probably make my decision soon. Any help making my decision?

I think that since you are already staying at an Epcot resort, you should choose a moderate, rather than the Dolphin. I have stayed at the Dolphin, and I enjoyed it a lot, but I enjoyed my stay at POR even more. I loved the theming and the grounds a lot. And the water taxi to DTD was a fun experience. So I vote for POR.

....And I forgot to mention...
I am female, 50 years old, and this will be my 6th solo trip.

In the past, I have stayed at The Swan ( 3 times ), and loved it,
and I have stayed at POR ( 4 times when it was still Dixie Landings )
and also loved it there.

Does Boatwrights at POR still have a breakfast buffet ?

You still get double beds at the Dolphin, just like at the moderate, but you have indoor corridors, access to lots of restaurants, easy access to Disney Studios and Epcot. And the beds are very nice at the Dolphin.

At POR or POFQ, you have boat access to DTD.

At Boatwrights you order from the menu for breakfast. But they have great Eggs Benedict.

So unless you can get a better rate at the moderate resort (I like Coronado Springs), I'd stay at the Dolphin.

By the way, you will need to provide proof of your government employment, such as an ID card when you check in.
