Dollar Express question

Has anyone ever used this? We used to be Dollar FastLane members and used that at MCO which meant not having to queue in the regular line.

Apparently Dollar Express members can go straight to the parking garage at MCO without having to go to the desks inside the terminal.

Just wondering if anyone had put this into practice as this would save valuable time at the airport?

We used Dollar Express last December but went to the express line at the normal desks. Being first in the queue meant we were on our way to pick up the car after about 2 mins.

Never heard of being able to go straight to the parking lot

Don't know about Dollar, but Budget Fastbreak gets you straight to parking garage.

Dollar Express doesn't mean you can bypass the desk. We used it a few weeks ago - there is a seperate Express desk which cuts down on queing. We found that as we atarted to queue they opened up another desk straight away to deal with us.

I believe one of the rental companies fast track systems allows this but its not Dollar as far as I know. Used it twice this year and still had to use the desks. It only takes a few minutes though, fantastic service.

Budget do it but you must register and it has to be for frequent renters (3 times in a year I think) or a business account.

You can also get this with Alamo if you book with usrentacar.co.uk, they claim to be the only UK agent to do this.

Hertz Gold club members can do that at certain airports.

Basically you give them your flight info, they have a board that has your name and stall number of the car on it. You then show your ID at the gate as you leave the lot.

Works well, DH used to be a member when he traveled a lot for work. He expensed the $50/year fee.

If your flight is delayed you have to go to the desk as they will have taken your name off the board after an amount of time.

I used the dollar express in July, no wait and there was plenty on the desk , but i was the only one in the queue. The normal Dollar lane was next to us with quite a queue , but all the express agents only deal with express members .

I have used them twice this year and saved me over 2 hours waiting but they told me they didn't have seperate express agents. They were were all regular agents but if anyone arrived in the express line they had to take from there first. Whichever way I don't mind it still saves lots of time.
