Durango was/is I believe Premium SUV so Ford Expedition or similar. You could get anything like that.

Thank you WayneG...! We have been waiting and waiting (Like a few others on here) to book our cars for our April trip this year. Just booked 2 Minivans (Travelling with friends) at £284 each - which is the Platinum rate so includes all drivers and first tank of fuel.

Fantastic deal as the cheapest we could find from the usual sources was £420 each.

Like you I think it may either be a glitch or alternatively an attmept to get some cash in as they have taken forever to get their prices up this year. I checked only a night or two ago and they were still not quoting for either our April or September trips. They have now got silly prices for both.

Right off to book the August car now.......

I so wish I had my flights booked for August, I have considered booking what I think is right and hope i get 4th-29th but we could end up flying into Miami, Tampa, Atlanta, Charlotte. I will drive from any of these to get a good flight price.

Does anyone have any idea if a SUV the size of a Jeep Grand Cherokee would be big enough for 2 adults & 2 children with 4 (medium size) suitcases?
I was looking at Full Size cars, but it's cheaper with Dollar to have this type of SUV and would make a change from driving our normal full size family car we have in the UK!

I have booked a mini van for 20 days, only one thing, I cant see any mention of platinum insurance being included on the confirmation email or the voucher. Can someone else who has booked have a look at theirs to see if I have missed something obvious.

They say 5 people and 4 cases http://www.dollar.com/Cars/FindACar.aspx but it depends which model you get, not everyone gets a Grand cherokee, they will have a few similar size cars.

If you read your terms & Conditions(from Confirmation email) under Your rental from Dollar includes.... it says * All additional drivers age 25 and over * initial tank of fuel.

Many thanks for posting this Wayne, you really are a star! £100+ cheaper that the basic minivan i've currently got with usrentacar, plus I remembered to pay the £15 cancellation charge with that booking this time. If they honour the booking i'll be very happy!

*Edit: meant to say that's £100+ less with Dollar, plus a tank of gas and additional drivers included, so probably a total saving of £170 or more = one great deal *

Just posting a quick thanks a million from us as well. Printed off vouchers for Easter and Summer. £182.82 for an Intermediate car for our 10 day visit at Easter and £707.30 (platinum to boot!) for 5 weeks in a minivan in the summer. You're a gem Wayne.

It is a way for them to avoid suplying if a misprice but the original confirmation did say CC had been debited and & have voucher

I don't know how you got those deals?
The lowest I could find for Feb was £638 for 29 days Sebring Plat package with Dollar.
I booked anyway because £159 per week is about right for us but I don;t see any £400 deals on there.
I got 2 emails both saying booking confirmed.
