Dollar Car Rental and Cape Canaveral

Hi, not sure if I should post here of on the DCL board. I got good rates for two one-way rentals from MCO to the port. I just want to be sure that Dollar has a shuttle to the port, because the last time we took a Disney Cruise, they did not. When I called Dollar, they said they did have a shuttle, but the woman I spoke to did not seems to know 100% for sure. Has anyone else used Dollar for this and can confirm shuttle to and from the port. Thanks.

We've used Dollar for two cruises out of Port Canaveral, the most recent being in early November. Both times we took a shuttle from the office to the port and from the port back to the office. Very easy!

Thank you. We used budget for ou previous three cruises, but I really prefer dollar. I wonder if they just started doing this, as we haven't cruised since 2007.

Thank you. I just assumed they had a shuttle but am relieved to have it confirmed. We rented Hertz last time we went to Port Canaveral but Dollar was about 1/2 the price on a minivan so we have gone with them this time. On other boards people seemed to suggest Dollar was the cheapest on minvans but there is a certain part of me who wonders why they are cheaper. It is good to see people happy with them. Is the Dollar Rental Car Shuttle in Cape Canaveral still available from their rental office to Port Canaveral? If so is there a charge per person- (amount of charge?)

I guess I can answer an old post of mine from a long time ago. We were on the July 24th Dream, and we used Dollar both ways to and from the port. There was a shuttle available, which is shared with Thrifty, a sister company.
Very easy to use.
