We rented a Chevy Astro van in Nov at MCO. It was a free upgrade from the compact we rented and we were very happy. Being the pushy person that I am (esp when I'm the one spending "my" money) I would have asked for a refund on the drive a caravan with upgrade or without upgrade. I'd still do it, or at least try. They need to know you're "not" OK with it!
