Dole Whips look good...

ok, where is aloha isle and I wonder how many pts they are on WW? LOL

Aloha Isle is just over the bridge to Adventureland. Not sure about WW but they are nondairy so it may not be too many.

I'm a WW Lifetime member (17 years....a little over 100 pounds!) and I see the Dole Whip as a great staple of my "must have" snacks....I would probably give it 3-4 points, but given that my choice of snack PRE WW would have ALWAYS been Mickey Ears or the Main Street Homemade Cookie Sandwich....it's points well spent! Another good treat for me has been the chocolate covered frozen bananas....If memory serves...they are 3 points...not to say I don't indulge in some of my "favorites of trips past" - but I have those once a trip...vs. daily! ENJOY and remember that anything you do better than you "would" have before will keep you on track!!

They are right by the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse. And they don't only look good, they are the greatest snack in the park.

I agree! Hands down...it my favorite snack in the parks!

OK SOLD! I know exactly where it is. Thanks for the news on the frozen banana's, never thought about that being a good snack on WW. Cant wait to try them both.

I've never had one though I'm told by the Tag Fairy I should be "whipped" with one! :teeth:

Okay!!! I have been reading and just waiting (and drooling) for someone to explain what these are. So...waht are they and where do you get them? Yummy!

mmmmmmmmmmmm....can't wait to get one...gosh, they are yummy!

btw, it's like pineapple flavored soft serve ice cream...scrumptious :cool1:

The definition of a "Dole Whip" :
the single greatest edible creation in Disney history. Pineapple soft-serve sorbet, complimented extremely well by fresh-squeezed pineapple in a "Dole Whip float." A delightful treat no matter your age. Must have addictive ingredients because once you have one, you CAN"T WAIT to enjoy another. Pictures of Dole Whips serve as great screen savers on cell phones. :rolleyes1

Any questions? :mickeyjum
(LOOK! Even Mickey can't wait to have one!!!)

My favorite is the Dole Whip float !! Yum Yum !! We tried them for the first time last year and know my entire family thinks it is the best treat in the park. When will they add this to the dining plan ?!

I'm a Dole Whip addict too.....

Just a little FYI....

The mix to make Dole Whip can be purchased & are very easy to make at home with an ice cream maker.... :stir:

Another longtime Dole Whip fan here. On our last trip I finally tried one of the Dole Whip Floats and it was equally gorgeous. As I ate it, I noticed it was actually 3 different things:

First I started eating the creamy soft serve on top

Then as the pineapple juice underneath started to seep up into the remaining soft serve, it turned into a sort of icy "slushy"

Then after I had eaten the slushy part, there was refreshing pineapple juice left underneath to drink.

See, 3 different treats in one!! :woohoo:

Can anyone tell me what exactly the "Citrus Swirl" is at the Sunshine Tree Terrace in Adventureland? Is it like the Dole Whip but with fresh orange juice? Or is it artificially flavoured?

And what about the Strawberry Swirl in Fantasyland - is that the same thing but with real strawberry juice?

once my sister and I had only dolwhips for a day cause we did not feel liek waiting for any thing else! They are so good..

My DH had a citrus swirl a couple of weeks ago, and it was frozen oj (think sorbet consistancy) swirled with vanilla soft serve ice cream. He really liked it. I had the frozen oj slushy thing, and it was really good also.
