Since we are going to be at DLR for a whole week, I have decided to give myself the challenge of trying to do all the attractions. I have made a list of 93 attractions and shows that I will do next week while we are there.

To get this list I took all the "attractions" listed for both DL and DCA (removing Star Tours and RRCS which will be closed). I have the DLRR on the list 4 times, once for each station. Jungle Cruise, Matterhorn Bobsleds, and Mickey's Fun Wheel on the list twice (day and night for JC, each side for MB, and fixed and swinging for MFW). I also included 4 different Main Street vehicles, Horse Trolley, Bus, Fire Engine, and Automobile.

Since DL lists Fantasmic! as an attraction, I added in WoC, and both firework shows to the list. I am not including Parades or traveling shows.

I also took off PFF and Pixie Hollow, since my daughter is too old, and an old man waiting to get his picture with young women is just creepy.

My wife thinks this is all a bit silly, and wont wait around while I take on the rides in Flik's Fun Fair, but my son has stepped up and says he will go on them with me.

Is there anything I might have missed on my list that I should make sure to do?

I will try to post my progress on this challenge as I progress through the list.

LOL on the first line! You might be right.

We will be taking our first DLR trip in January and when I saw the photos of the FFF I knew that I'd be battling this same thing .... our kids don't actually know about the trip yet, but I know I'll have to make some deals (extra Mickey bars and RK treats) to get our kids on these rides too ... but, oh yeah, if I have to do it alone, I'm going on them! :goodvibes They are so cute!

I haven't made touring plans yet, but your list looks good to me! :thumbsup2

Depending on when you will be there you can make an effort to see both the Halloween Screams fireworks and RDCT fireworks (if you are there during MNSSHP).

Also, some little known "attraction" to check out is the Musical Chairs played daily at Coke Corner at 2pm (probably can't play, but you can check it out), watching the Disneyland Band play on Main Street, the sword in the stone show (not sure exactly what time this is done), seeing the various musical acts and small street shows that also play on the street (Billy Hill for example). Are you planning on doing the character houses/meet and greets?

There has to be a ton that I am missing but that is all I can come up with as of now.

Only other thing I would suggest is doing the carousel at night and during the day, totally different experience at night.

Good luck, keep us posted

I think it is a very fun idea! You should probably add a visit to DD, and the lobby of the GC resort too!

Both fireworks are on the list, I might add seeing one of them from the hotel (we're staying at PPH). As to Musical Chairs, I thought about this, but like the street shows it is something I don't see myself going out of the way to see. If I see it going on, I will defiantly go to see it, but I am not going to try to remember to be on Main Street at 2:00.

The character houses are on the official list of "attractions," so I will be going through those. As for meet and greets, I will leave those to the spur of the moment as well.

I think I will add Billy Hill, I've wanted to see them but have yet to. And I will add King Arthur's carousel at night to the list, I don't think King Triton's is open due to WoC.

As to DTD and GCH lobby, I will be walking though one or the other of these at least 2 times a day, probably more, so I am going to leave them off the list.

You might also want to steer and use the accelerator on Autopia.

Also for Day and night rides, Splash, BTMRR, Storybookland Canal ride, along with JC, matterhorn and MFW, though this will close for WoC.

I wanna do this someday!
I applaud you for wanting to do everything. Have fun! & let us know how it goes!

Just wanted to point out for anyone that might try and do musical chairs -- it's actually at 2:30 (not 2:00). :goodvibes

Is musical chairs every day? I had never even heard of it until yesterday.

What about Billy Hill and the Hillbillies at the Golden Horseshoe. We have never been and are going to see it this trip, we leave tomorrow.:cool1:

I was thinking the same thing. :thumbsup2 (& of course do both sides of the Matterhorn)

:lmao:

I love this every attraction idea. Definitely do a trip report.

Will your son (or daughter) be too old to do Jedi Training?

Are the Canoes running? Will they only be available on the weekend?

On my next trip, if i can't do every ride....I'll try to eat one of every cookie at Pooh Corner.

:)

I believe so. We have done it every trip for the last several years. It is not on any schedule -- just something they do.

I think I will add Billy Hill, I've wanted to see them but have yet to.
Yes, this is a must do!! Also catch the Laughing Stock show in front of the GH or I think they perform inside on days when Billy Hill is not showing (Tues/Wed I think).

This sounds like a great "bucket list" type of thing to do! A few years ago my son thought it would be fun to eat every type of ice cream while we were there. :goodvibes Of course he didn't but definitely had to get something different each day of the trip.

I would LOVE to do this some day. We'll have several days in November, but we've got 3 little ones, 7, 4 1/2 and will be 7 months and I think we'd die of exhaustion if we tried to do it all.

Some day...

You sound like such a fun dad!

I was there almost two weeks ago and only noticed the canoes on the weekend, same thing with the SSColumbia.

Since we are going to be at DLR for a whole week, I have decided to give myself the challenge of trying to do all the attractions.

Love this idea! Very interested to hear how it plays out.

I'll be at DL next week myself (coming from Chicago): Thurs - Sat. Keep an eye out for me so you give me a real-time update ;-).

Since we are staying at PPH, I have added viewing the Fireworks from the Hotel to the list. That brings me up to 96 items, it would be nice to get to 100, so I am still looking for 4 more.

Are there any really *Disney* experiences in DTD? Should I add going to the Garden Walk? I might add the water slide at PPH.

I think I have enough of the day/night contrasts, and I don't want to start adding special experiences (i.e. pilot house on the Mark Twain). What else can I add?

Also, I LOVE  all the support for this challenge. I will be wearing a LGMH when we go, so watch for me. I will be taking advantage on Magic Mornings to get all the castle rides, and Nemo. Other than that, I will try to keep everyone posted.

This sounds like a fabulous idea! I am going in December for the first time and am planning to try everything myself since I will be alone the park while my sister is attending a conference. Would you mind sharing your list? I hadn't thought so far ahead as making a checklist, but I know I could use one as I am not familliar with DLR at all.

Good luck coming up for 4 more items, and I look forward to your progress reports! :goodvibes

Good luck on your quest, but keep in mind that some rides might be unavailable.

For example, I was just at DL this morning and there was quite a list of "closed" attractions today. More than 5 in DL park alone...
