Doing Everything at DLR

I don't have any ride suggestions but was wanting to make a different kind of suggestion. I think it would be totally cute if you invested in a duffy bear and took him on this journey with you! Either way, you should totally snap a photo per-attraction, it can be a "thing". Good luck on your challenge! What fun.

I love this idea!!! And yes, if you have the list easily transferable, please post it for a future trip, plus it would be easier for (me at least) to possibly come up with more ideas if I see what is already on the list. I keep thinking, do you have this on the list? Do you have that on the list?

I would not add a trip to Gardenwalk - it is just a big outdoor mall, really.

To get to 100, you could add something like a picture in front of one of the DCA letters, find one hidden Mickey, throw a penny in and make a wish in Snow White's fountain, or get a pressed penny.

Alright, here the list so far, it has 98 items on it. The numbers are the attractions or shows that are in each of the lands (makes it easier for me to count them). The ones with stars are the ones that I have not done (at least not in the last 20 years) yet.

i like that idea:thumbsup2

I think Toy Story Mania will be closed during your trip.

Personally I would add the two parades. And to get to 100, add either Laughing Stock (I think they are in the Golden Horseshoe on the days when Billy is not) or Drawn to the Magic or High School Musical 3. They are all regular shows with scheduled times.

I applaud your goal and will look forward to hearing how it turns out. You have put a fun task in front of yourself.

A few thoughts:

1. Inside Innoventions, there is a show, "Say Hello to ASIMO" that takes place a few times throughout the day. It has VERY set times. It's a cool show if you have any interest at all in robotics and technology. ASIMO is a real robot that is built by Honda. They have been working on it for 20 years and the show is pretty fascinating. You get to see ASIMO do all sorts of things. It's a 15 minute show. I would count it as a separate "thing" within Innoventions.

2. If you are counting Billy Hill and the Hillbillies, I think you would need to add Laughing Stock to your list. It is another show at the Golden Horseshoe.

3. If you are not aware, the Halloween Screams fireworks that you have added to your list are only available for viewing during the Mickey's Halloween Party. This is a special event that requires an additional cost ticket. If you wanted to cheat a bit, you could (sort of) watch from the Esplanade, but part of what truly makes this fireworks show so incredible is things that can only be seen from in front of the castle. If you see it from the Esplanade, you haven't REALLY seen the Halloween Screams show, but it's your list, so you can count it if you want. :)

4. Parades: You are counting fireworks, Fantasmic!, and World of Color. Sort of feels like parades should be included, no? But, again, your list, your task, your fun.

Have fun completing (and planning) your quest,
Dreams

We made a consious effort to try and do everything and still came up a little short... We got caught by leaving the canoes and the columbia to the last minute and missing out... Some you need to add...

Matterhorn at night
Big Thunder at night (bonus if during fireworks)
Laughing Stock Show at the GH

TSMM will reopen on Tuesday, according to the Disneyland Calendar. So I will have to wait to ride it, but will also have to ride Mulholland Madness before that, since it will close on Tuesday.

I am wary of adding more shows, and I intentionally left off the Parades because I have seen them and do not really enjoy them.

I applaud your goal and will look forward to hearing how it turns out. You have put a fun task in front of yourself.

1. I am avoiding "special" experiences on the list, but will try to do them as part of the attractions if the opportunity presents itself.

2. Another vote for the Laughing Stock, I will think about it.

3. We have tickets to MHP next Tuesday, so that one is already planned for.

4. Again, the parades just aren't my thing.

We got close to achieving this....

I am aware that the canoes and Columbia will be things I need to do either Saturday or Sunday, as soon as I see them running. Sorry you missed them. I almost feel the same way about the Fun Wheel, but it would not be a true challenge unless I included things I don't want to do, and I might enjoy it. I hope I have as good luck at the Boardwalk.

Alright, I will add the Laughing Stock Co, I get the message. But only because EVERY post says I should, not because I will enjoy it, this is pure peer pressure. :rolleyes1

The other one I am going to add is the Monorail from DTD, since I have DLRR from each station, I figure I need to Monorail from each of it's stations.

My son is going to join me on this quest, we will see if he makes it. But since he is MUCH cuter than Duffy, I will be taking pictures of him on as many of the attractions as possible.

I just love this whole idea and absolutely think you an do it, barring any unforeseen circumstances!!! And YAY for your son, who's up for the challenge.

I mentioned it to my DH, and while we are not going to be as ambitious as you, it has inspired us to do several things we have never done before on our next trip.

Please let us know how it goes when you get back!

I would add the flag raising/lowering on Main Street USA. It's a very moving experience and one that many people miss.

I believe that the OP said he was staying at the PPH. Last year we stayed at the PPH and we watched the Halloween Screams fireworks from the Pool Deck. They play the music and it was a good view, better than the esplanade. This year I would think this might be a reasonable way for someone staying at the PPH to see the fireworks if they didn't have MHP tickets. Even if you don't see them from right in front of the castle, they are still good from the deck of the PPH and the music is excellent!

I'm totally gonnna laugh if you get chosen to be one of the "contestants" to win the hand of Miss Sally Mae:rotfl2::lmao:

Hi Capt Silly! We had a similar goal to experience every attraction during the year that we had APs. It took us 4 trips but we did it. :cool1: We even sucked it up and went to the Princess Fantasy Faire and Pixe Hollow, although this was a source of much debate. Looking at your list, I realized we missed a couple things. Perhaps we'll have to go back...

One thing that is not on your list is Aladdin. If this is running while you are there, I think that should count as an attraction. Have a wonderful time doing all this with your son.

We included Alladin, the parades and all the shows in our list... We did Pixie Hollow and Princess thing but only as observers (so as not to be wierd)...

We were in the parks for 10 days to achieve this, rode BTMRR, Splash, Space, Buzz, TSMM and Matterhorn at least 10 times each so it was pretty full on...

We were quite dissappointed in missing the two rides but was our own silly fault....
