DOING DIS APRIL20-27 GOOD or BAD IDEA?

Greetings.
My family of four is going to Disney from April 20-27.
IT IS OUR FIRST TIME!!!

Is this a bad week to go?
We're staying at the All Sports....

That should be a good time for your visit. The Easter crowds are gone, and the weather is almost perfect!!! You can look at the park hours for that time, and it will show that they expect lower attendance -- hence, shorter hours.

Not keen on the shorter hours, but if there are less people it should be good, right?

I haven't looked into the weather yet, but I guess I should.
Is that a good time of year for weather?

I think the weather at that time is almost perfect -- hot/warm during the day and little rainfall. It can be 80-85+ duing the day and a light sweater at night. Not yet in the rainy season.

For your first trip, enjoy the parks without the crowds. Easter crowds disappear after April 17.

I hope the crowds are light and the weather is good.

Mind you, its -15 celcius here right now so anything above that is awesome...

Plus we have about 4 feet of snow....
can't wait.

That is just far enough past Easter for the crowds to be at a good level. I have been at the beginning of April before and it was HOT. This was in 2002-- it was over 90 each and every day!!! The nights were in the 70's. However, I do remeber the news saying they were having alittle hotter than usual weather! We are going on 4/28 right after you go home. My only concern is that it might be just a little too hot.

The weather is great that time of year, but crowds may still be heavy as a lot of NE schools are on break that week. have fun!

We are planning a trip April 28 to May 3. We were hoping for very light crowds. Isn't that a little late for spring break?
